~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

I found him I found him.  Oh, I am crying like a baby!  He looks so grown up and serious!  So thankful for whichever Mom posted that they announced it wrong and that her son said division 915 honor guard did perform!  YEAH!!!

Jojo9627:  My son is on the same ship/division.  Glad to meet you.  :)  Are you planning on going to Sarge's "Meet & Greet"?

Which part of graduation did the honor guard come in?  I spent 2 hours diligantly trying to find the livestream on my ipad last night...only to read that I can't watch on a mobile unit (good grief).  So now I am watching trying to figure out when honor guard comes in, so if anyone has a clue, thanks in advance.

When are phone calls project to go out? I am leaving Wednesday morning. Has anyone from 091 gotten a hard conformation on when BS is?

The rule from RTC is that if you get the scripted "didn't pass my final PFA, don't come to PIR" you are not to go unless you get the I'm a Sailor call from your new sailor after that (because if there is time, they get another try for the PFA and could very well be at PIR).  This puts families in a real jam since they don't know whether to go or not, and many have flights reserved that are scheduled before their SR will know.  It used to be that if you got to PIR and your SR hadn't passed, you would still get to see him/her for a couple of hours.  But they no longer allow that.  They will tell you that they will have your SR call you, but we have heard from others that they didn't even get that call.

So, praying that all pass their final PFA and the all-important I'm a Sailor call is what is received!

NewNukeMom:  If your SR doesn't pass the final PFA by the division's BattleStations date, you will get a call.  In that case, you do not go to PIR since we think this division does BattleStations so late that your SR won't get to try the PFA again before PIR.  In that case, your SR stays in FIT DIVISION and keeps trying....3 times a week until they pass, do BattleStations, and fly straight to A School, no PIR once they miss their own.  Lets hope this is not the case!  :-)

Thanks Kelley. It is the PFA that he seemed most worried about. He said the 2nd one was a good improvement over the 1st test but he did not say if he passed or not. He did go on to say that the 2/28 looks promising so I am thinking positive.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. Much appreciated!
