~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Hello all, just wanted to say hi to everyone. My son is in Ship 13 Div 101, and I am so excited to see him on graduation day! I was wondering where will everyone be staying, or what events will you get into once you arrive? I would love to say hi to all you Navy moms it will help to know people once there I think. Look forward to hearing about your events!
Oh thank you diannep! We are actually staying at the Ramada, so we may just go to that one. We will be arriving on a 7 hour drive and will most likely be pretty worn out. If it's not too far apart we may try to hit the others. Depends on how we feel after that drive! I figured we'd have to wait till Friday to see our kiddos! I will just be so darn excited I'm not sure if I'll be able to even sleep!! ;)
luvmy3brats: Oh, our brats will always be our brats...no matter how "big" they get! :-)
Yes, there are 3 MeetandGreets the night before PIR. You can go to the right on this page and see the different ones under "Events": Sarge's (the one we recommend), Flanigans, and Ramada's. Sarge's will have the most useful info for you for PIR weekend and I hear his food is pretty good too! There will be no sailors there :-( you have to wait until PIR to see them!
Here is a link to the RTCs FB page. The pictures are random pictures from RTC, so have a look. There are currently some of division 101/102 and it appears to be 806. There are also a couple of others with no division visible. Look carful maybe you'll see your SR.
cappy, here is the link to the picture,

You can go to the Recruit Training Command FB page and "like" it, by going to this link.
where on fb do i find the pics for those graduating 3/1/20132
Thanks for the info dianep. Thanks for the compliment on the screen name! I've been using it for years, however, my 3 little brats aren't so little anymore! :( 18, 15, and 12. Is there going to be a "meet and greet" on Thursday for those that belong to this group?? If so, how do we find out info on that? Would be nice to get to put some faces with names! ;)
Welcome Breeski and luvmy3brats (love your screen name!). So glad you found the group.
Breeksi: When you see someone else post that they are in either Div 101 or 102, you may want to friend them. This is how you do it:
Click on their picture or screen name in their post. When you get to their page, you will see "Add as Friend" on the left side of their page. Just click on that and a message will be sent to them. Once they "accept" this, you will see their picture icon under FRIENDS on the left side of your own page. Then you can private message with them through the Send a Message prompt on that friend's page. It is easier than it sounds!
Eventually, the discussion groups will be posted above for you all to meet each other in your division groups. But in the meantime, feel free to private message each other and get to know about your SRs who are training together!
Just a reminder for those new to this site...no last names of SRs are allowed on this site, so please keep that in mind! If you speak to your SR, and he/she mentions a SR that they have become friends with...and you would like to see if that SR's family member is on this site...you could post something like this:
"Does anyone have a SR, last name starts with (put letter) from (put city that that SR is from) in Div (number)? If so, I think our SRs are friends. Please friend request me!
Hi KD'sMom! Nice to have you as a friend! I'm so excited for PIR! Maybe they'll post some more pics this week or next! Hate not talking to him, but I do write to him everyday! Praying they are all doing well!! ;)
Hello there luvmy3brats, my son is also ship13 div 103 , i know how you feel about looking at the pics and not seeing him, i was hoping the samething.
