I thought that this would be fun to see what our SRs say in either a letter or a phone call to us.

My son wrote:

Mom, the caviar here is bland and my gold toilet is a little cold but I think I will manage.

I laughed so hard!

So feel free to put down the things that made you smile, laugh or cry from your SR.

Have a great day!

I asked if anybody had snored to loud. He said, Well you can hear guys snoring but it's not too bad...nobody has complained about me yet so it must me ok!  I laughed really hard because my SR and his brother used to share a room and my SR's brother used to complain all the time about how loud Chris was!

He also said in his letter to his girlfriend, a nearby SR farts in his sleep and I think that the gas chamber would be better than sleeping close to that!!!! Whatever is in his A$$ needs to stay there and stop trying to sneak out!!!!! I laughed so hard I almost wet myself!!!!

lol, that is so funny!! I needed that laugh!:)

again BEARsmom - BWA, HA, hA!

Bearsmom - Thank you - I needed the laugh :)

My boyfriend LOVES music and was always listening to his ipod so in one of his letters he said "I miss music a lot! The only song I hear is "Anchors Aweigh." So, I just sing all the songs in my head.

I felt so bad reading that but had to laugh after I youtubed the anchors aweigh song!!

Also, I had told him about meeting and talking to a girl from here whose husband is in his division and he said

"Everyone thinks it's funny that you and his wife met on the internet"

hahahaha!!!

hahaha...thats awesome!!!!

This isn't what my son said but another mom posted it somewhere and I thought it was hysterical.  He said "the foods not bad, we get three meals a day with a side of yelling"  Cracked me up!!!

My son wrote in his letter "I have to go shine my boots, whoever shines them the best gets a 5 minute phone call, if you didn't get a call last week you know how I did" (PS, I didn't get a call that week) ;-)

LOL! thats great kimmic!

I got a phone call tonight at about 5:55 pm from my son. He said that the RDC is a scary MoFo. He said that he is tired of other SRs screwing up because they cause him to have to do more IT than is necessary!

He asked if I could send a shoe brush because the one that they gave him sucks major a$$!!! He said he likes some of the guys in his division and that others he could live without like the ones that constantly screw up. LOL!!! I wanted to cry but couldn't because I needed to be strong for him.

My son also bitched about the other sailors that screw up. He said a lot of times it is the girls and the guys get punished when they mess up, too. He also complained about the extra IT. lol

That is funny - my daughter said its teh boys in her division.  They have been there since Jan 3rd and just got to write for the 1st time on 1/29 and got their 1st phone call 1/30.
