Sandy, what kind of division leader is she?  My son is RPOC.  Is there one for the girls and one for the guys?

I got a letter today.  He said they had Test 2 and he thinks he did well.  He said they had the drill (marching) assessment and they scored a 4.82 out of 5.  He said the chief was very proud of them. He said the score meant that their division had the highest score of all the divisions in ship 07.  This all happened on Tuesday.

Sounds like they have pulled together. That's wonderful. Not many letters but we spoke to her on Valentine's Day. That was nice. Seemed calm. We aren't getting a lot of news but that is typical for our daughter.

You got a call on VD?  Hmm...we didn't.  Did anyone else?  I'm wondering if you got a call because your daughter did something good and was rewarded.

Well she did get a bonus call of 1 hour due to a test grade but hasn't used it yet. Had to get phone #s for references off of her phone contact list. Didn't even realize it was VD!

Can you guys tell me what training day (week-day) you are on?  Give me the date and the training day.  For example:

Div 075, Thursday 2/16, day 5-3.

My son just called!!!  They are on 5-2 hold.

Got a call too :)

what do you mean 5-2 hold?

It's a weekend and the days are not training days.  So, Friday would have been week 5, day 2.  They are holding now until Tuesday which will be week 5 day 3 (Monday is a holiday).

Marlena - My son said the gas chamber is on Wednesday.  Since I can't say the BS date, but I would assume it is early next week.

Mnozell48 - my son is going to Charleston for Nuke.  I am thrilled about it.  I couldn't believe he qualified.  If he gets through this, his future is set.  Regular college was not going too well, so I have all my hopes on this.

yup got a call yesterday and it was so good to hear from him today is 5-2 and holding due to the holiday. they have battle stations this week I think towards the end. he said some can;t swim still and they will have to stay longer, sorry for those kids and parents.Got a letter too on sat. and he said the group is really doing good and may get the blue/or gold flag ....lets hope .

we got a good set a kids

mine is going to GC for MM for nukes. not happy about it but we will see
