I thought they had already done swim tests? I know mine is worried about her run. She has never been a runner :( So I am worried too. She told me if she doesn't call me on Friday that it is a good thing lol.

Callie - from what I understand, if they didn't pass the swim test they had the chance to learn how to swim and take the test again. My son also said that it didn't matter that he passed the 2nd PFA, everyone has to pass the 3rd.    My son wasn't built for running so this was the thing I worried about most.  I am glad he did pass it the second time.  I sure hope that I don't get a call before next week, too.

We are on the down hill side girls!!! My daughter called this weekend also, it was wonderful! She reminded  me, we don't want to hear from them until next week. I can hardly sit still at my desk this week (it's a good thing they all know why). Think of the emotional roller coaster we have been on together these last weeks, we've almost made it!! We are going to be mom's of SAILORS.

Congratulation to all our SR's -  They worked so hard to get where they are.   The finish line is in site!!!!!   Eight days to go and good luck to all of our SR's in this final week..

Sandy, my son said they are being picked up in the evening and dropped off for battlestations.  Then they are picked up about 12 hours later in the morning.  I think they get to call later that day.  They have to stay awake all night and into the next day.  Yeah, you will probably be in transit when they start calling.  We really don't know when they are going.  Seems like everything can change at any time.

I think everyone is hearing something different. Can I just say I am ready for this all to be over? My nerves are shot from having things to worry about. Which is silly she will either pass or she won't there is nothing I can do about it. I will still worry though lol.

Did any one else order the Division T-shirts.  I got mine today, they are really cool.  See attached for a picture of the back of the shirt which is their flag.  I will be wearing this in a week!

one more week and we get to see our sons/husbands/daughters/boyfriends!!!!!!!!!!

hope it doesn't snow like it is there today when we get there....

It was one of the discussions that was posted at the beginning.  It is from Poseidon Sportswear.  It is too late for PIR, but maybe they will still make them for you.  I got one for all of us to wear to PIR, plus one for Tyler to wear in the hotel.

Ok I know today was the final run. Anyone know what time today I can breathe? Or how late she could possibly call and say she has to stay?

Sometimes an individual may fail battlestations but it doesn't happen often and when it does it is usually because they fell asleep. They won't fail a whole division or at least no one has ever heard of that happening before. If they do fail then they go through it again with another division a couple nights later. They don't even participate the second time because they have an unfair advantage since they have already been through it once before. So all they have to do is follow along and stay awake. Sometimes someone may not get to call when the rest of the division does because they may have watch or duty but in that case they usually get to make up the call. And I have heard of one DIV who didn't get to call until two days after battlestations but that was a performing division and I'm not sure why they had to wait. Once they have done battle stations they think it is fun and many of them wish they could do it again. They often say it is like a virtual video game that you actually get to go into so they love it :-)

I really think they would have called today. That is the way she made it sound anyway. I am really praying we are safe. It is 830 surely they would have called if they were going to call...
