Leslie,
They did come with 2 different div photos. Only one of each came with the package. One of the div photo's can be reordered for $20 and it is an 8X10. I will try to message you a copy of the photo because I find it hard to recognize the men with their tough faces and sailor hats on. :)
Thank you:) I appreciate it. I would like to have something. Hopefully he will be in one of them. On FB page they were saying there were some taken that you could get and I thought would be nice to have if I could get one. I would like to see him in some kind of uniform!:( I hate that I won't see him in his camo or his dress uniform:( When I pick him up tomorrow he said he would be in his sweats. He said that is all he will come home with pretty much.
Well, I posted it on your Facebook wall. Let me know if you find him. I looked, but like I said, it's hard to recognize them and mom always knows best. :)
thanks for posting the pic to fb....I was able to find Gavin and loved seeing all the faces he trained with. Got a letter from him today and he is so upset with the "cast out" division he is in now. No one studies and he is really worried about BS and said they will look horrible at graduation....I know he is growing through this..I can see it in his letters....anyway - thanks for posting the pic :)
Help -- My son was in Div. 914 and was a body snatcher for Div. 080 at Graduation. Unfortunately I sat by Div. 914 sign and did not see my son during graduation -- I was bummed. I forgot I was supposed to sit close to the north door. I am hoping there is a parent out there who took a picture of that division that included the body snatcher (would have had a yellow scarf around neck and stood sideways by the sailor). I would love to have a copy of that picture. By the way, watching the body snatchers was amazing how they went up and down each aisle (I watched the one closest to us). Thank you.
I did not personally take any pictures, but I will ask my family members if they caught any pictures of him. He sure did a great job of flowing in and out of the ranks during graduation. I would be surprised if my dad did not capture a shot of him. He tends to be picture happy, so I am sure he got a least one shot. I will let you know if I have something.
Many thanks. My son is about 6ft. and wears glasses (I'm not sure if the divisions had more than one body snatcher assigned to them).
My dad just called me and has 2 close ups of him. My son was lined up on the end of the division so he got a shot of him inspecting my son. He says they are really good shots. I will have to go and get the photo discs from him today. I will try to upload the photos on here (if I can figure it out...LOL). Wish me luck. :)
Just load them on FB and I'll upload them here. :) If you want. Just tryin' to help! LOL!
Thanks! I will give this a go and if I run into trouble, I will go the facebook route. :)
I am usually pretty tech savvy, but this site is a little foreign to me. I can probably figure it out.
