This group is for anyone who will be needing a ride between the airports and Great Lakes.  Sarge charges by the car, so the more of you who can share, the cheaper it is for all.

Please post the day you arrive, your arrival time, and the airport you are flying into .  That way, you can connect on rides. Don't think it matters too much if you all are staying at different hotels.  They are all relatively close in distance.

If someone is renting a car and has room to take some people arriving at the same time, that would be nice too!

I will arrive around 9am Thursday, March 7 into Midway and going to Springhill Suites.  Flying out Sun at 12:15.  Will be two people.

Hello,  my daughter and I will be arriving Thursday, March 7th at 3:28 pm into Chicago O'Hare~~  We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Waukegan/Gurnee.

Our departing flight is Saturday, March 9th, at 6:29 pm, but we may already be at the airport from seeing our SR off to A school.

I will be arriving on March 6 at 10:00 am t Midway and leaving the hotel at noon on Sunday.  Staying at the Ramada on Green Bay.  2 people

2 people arriving on Thursday at 1:00pm into O'Hare-going to Springhill Suites.

Flying out on Sat. at 5:00pm, but we might already be at the airport if our SR is flying out of O'Hare, unfortunately we won't know until graduation date what airport he will be flying out of for A school.

I haven't seen anybody with a schedule similar it mine yet. I just emailed Sarge with my flight plans. I told him I would be happy to share a ride with others. I will get back with any information he may give that is helpful.

I'm interested too, expected to arrive Thursday evening March 7th, once I get my ticket will have more information.

Hi everyone, leaving Milwaukee around 10:00 to 10:30am on Thursday (3-7), have room for 2 in our vehicle if you want a ride down to Great Lakes.  We are staying at Springhill.  Please let me know if your interested in a ride.  Yes, we can pick you up at the airport in Milwaukee !!

I made my hotel reservations for Ramada. 1 person on Thurs, March 7th. I am still watching and waiting for flight information, but tentively will fly out Thursday, early from Florida. I will probably fly to Midway. I already Sarge's rates, etc and will email and call him with my flight information once it's available. I see 2 events for the same day.

My daughter and I are also staying at the Ramada.  We are coming in on Wednesday though.  I hope we get to meet.

Which meet and greet are you going to, Ramada or Sarge's?

I think Sarge's is earlier, so I might try both. I think I read where pickup is free to his event?

We will meet, that is a guarantee. I just received another letter from my son today. He said they are in Day 2 from the week of... (&*&^*^&%&%, so I think, I know what training he is in. He worries too much about his bills here. I wish he had given me control, so that he could focus on himself. I am anxious for March 8th to get here. I haven't been walking as long as I want, because I have problems with my ACL. It's my only way of getting outside and clearing my mind of his absense. LOL I feel like I am writing a diary. Thanks for listening.

I think it is free since we are getting rides from him, but if not, maybe we can share a ride with this.

Just take your time getting back into the walking.  If you do too much, you won't be walking at all, so take it slow.  And I can listen any time you need to talk :)

Yes, we can do that. I have two local friends, that said they only spent the day of the PIR with their sons, both their sons just graduated. I  was hoping for at least 2 days, but that's doubtful. His orders keep changing. He was selected for something "big" and they shook his hand, but wont find out until PIR. That's like giving a kid candy and not allowing them to eat it. I can tell he is under more pressure to excel.I am excited for him.

I ordered clothes, hats and a heavier coat on line. Anything over 50F would be cold for me. I hear we will see snow.
