Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 109 and 110.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yes, I was surprised we were able to talk that long.

I know the feeling Kelso12, always nice to hear SR voices.

Never in my wildest dreams (and I'm sure my SR's) did I think the thing I would be worried the most about would be other girls in my SR' s div. causing this much trouble. Has anyone ever heard of this before? I can't imagine trying to concentrate and keep my head in the game under these circumstances.
Mini I haven't heard of this personally, but I have read other posts about the divisions taking some time to settle in. It justs seems as if our SR's got stuck with a group of bad apples. Hopefully they will settle down or get asmo'd. I hate to say that, but I don't want to see our SR's suffering for the actions of a few miscreants.

Moms,

I've been praying for the Lord to remove those ones who are not serious about being a Sailor and dragging down the whole division.  If they are trouble here, they will be trouble if they ever made it out to a ship or other assignment.  I hope you can all join me in praying for the divisions to be culled of these individuals.  I am hoping the Yeoman for each division is reporting the situation to the RDCs and that the RDCs will take action soon~~

Just got a call from my SR, (she said the last call for three weeks :-(    We spoke about 20mins. CatMom509, I think she knows your daughter too. I mentioned I've been communicating with others moms via this site to her.

All in all, she sounded in good spirits, she said two girls were ASMO'd (setback) due to attitude problems, and those two were one of the bad apples, so it looks like someone is taking notice on who is causing the issues and not working together. She says they are more, but at least that's a step in the right direction. I guess I have to rely on snail mail for the next 3 weeks.

Did any of you all get a call too?

I got a call as well from my SR. She said the same thing, that a couple of girls were asmo'd. She also said that this would be the last phone call until after battlestations. :( Her call caught me totally by surprise. I was on the phone with a friend when I saw her call come in. I completely freaked out and ended up disconnecting my daughter. I was so upset but luckily she called right back!
I'm still keeping my phone by my side 24/7 just in case. :)
Another call today. Sorely needed it. My SR sounds good. Swimming test passed easily. Is anyone else staying at the Marriott for PIR?
We're staying at Residence Inn. I was originally at the Ramada but changed to Residence so we could get a two room suite. My niece is going with us and didn't want to have her in a separate room with no guarantee that her room would be near ours.

Navymom1234 and Kelso12,

What divisions are your daughters in?  We haven't received any calls today.  So glad the Lord is working on refining their divisions now!  May the rest of the troublemakers shape up or they will suffer the same consequences as the first two~~

I will be at the Holiday Inn Express in Waukegan.  They have a nice, hot breakfast which will be served at 6:00 am on the PIR day. (1/2 earlier than normal).  It will just be me and my second daughter.

My daughter is division 110.

Same here Div 110
