Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

So excited for all the SRs and making it everyday closer to PIR!  So proud of them all-lets keep up the positive vibe for them all with thoughts and prayers and letters!

Thanks for starting up this discussion page!  Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hoping someone gets a letter today and wants to share their SR's experience so far...my mail doesn't come until the end of the day....waiting....hoping...

Newbie here!!! Just wondering why my son's division is mainly EODs. He is interested in hospital Corpsman... Ship 11 Div 107. Any comments are appreciated...

If they don't have enough EOD recruits to fill their own division, then they split them up into others...Sometimes there is an 800 Div filled with them or special ops I believe...I wouldn't say "mainly" EOD's, since there are 80-ish recruits...lots of other ratings mixed in there together.

Welcome tlramelot!!!  We are at the finish line!!!

I know its VERY exciting, but I think the moderators will ask you to remove this post because we are not allowed to post about when our Battlestations take place...

nothing for me today...anyone with good news to share?

Hi All Can't wait to meet everyone at PIR My poor SR had his last two wisdom teeth out today. Hope it was easier than the first two when he was home and he doesn't have Mommy to take care of him. Well I guess it's time for him to "Navy" up and be strong.

Thanks so much for starting this discussion page! I love the countdown ticker, looking forward to March 8th.  Keep the positive letters from home coming In to the SR's you all know they look forward to those.  My nephew Is ship 11 div 107.

Letters are coming in now!! My mom just read one from my son today.... They are in southern IL. Still waiting on my mail here in TX... I'm guessing I'll see one tomorrow here. So very relieved to hear that all is well!!

Hi All!  My son is on Ship 11 Div 108 so I'm so excited to be able to talk to others of you!  I have not received a letter yet, but love hearing that a few have!  Hopefully tomorrow!!  Are there others of you who have sons in with EOD contracts???
