Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Congratulations to all of the Sailors. Looking forward to meeting the members of this group!
How tired was your when you talked? Mine said he was so excited for 8pm bedtime last night!
Not sure what to bring to wear to graduation ceremony??? Dress code?? I was hoping to wear some US NAVY attire. What Is everybody else wearing???
I'm dressing for comfort and warmth! It will be chilly in the drill hall, so our coats will be on I'm sure. I'm just wearing slacks and a sweater most likely.
Just found this group. So wished I would have been on this site while he was in boot camp! So many questions would have been answered!! My son was in Div 108 Ship 11. We had a wonderful weekend with him that went much too quickly!! Not sure when we will see him again. Dive prep doesn't start until 4/15 for him. Does anyone have any information on what they do until then?
Welcome SandraB! Is he EOD? There are a few moms with eods from all the divisions-maybe you want to post this the main alumni of pir 3/8 page so others see it?
If he is at Great Lakes for A school join that group as well!
Thank You spomss!! Yes he is EOD. He is in Great Lakes for Dive Prep. How about your son?
He is AW (aircrew) and in Pensacola Fl for schools. But he called me last night :) So different being done with RTC! Are you close to there so you can visit when he gets phased up and has liberty?
We are from Atlanta so not sure if I will be able to visit again:( The drive was long! That is wonderful that he called you last night! I haven't heard from mine yet. I need his address to send him some things that he wants so hoping he will call soon. Best wishes to your son! So proud of all of them!!
Don't worry-he will call! Probably busy playing pool :)
