that's true about charter flights but my son didn't think he would be on a charter. He was told that everyone who's flying will be wakened at 1 am on saturday and be at the airport by 2 am to wait for their flights.

I hope that changes and we get to spend Saturday with them, but the chances of it changing are very very slim..  I wish you & your SR the best!!!!!

Well since all of you have fab plans, and we'll be driving thru the night Wed, we'll meet at PIR. My husband wants to go to Sarge's and we will and since we won"t know anyone, maybe we"ll leave early. I'll want to relax, unwind and go for a swim too. Then it's a very early wake up call and the fun begins!

We got yet another letter today and it was filled with good news & awesome news.... He has even impressed some RDC's.. I am so proud of him and all he has accomplished so far & can't wait till the 16TH to see Him & his ribbons....

that's great Tabby!  So happy it is all working out well.

The days need to move faster at least until the 15TH, 16TH & 17TH come around, then time can move very very slow... My husband is driving us to P.I.R. by the time we get to P.I.R. our faces will be stuck in smile mode for a few days... LOL  He is already planing trips to C.S.P.F. ( Corry Station Pensacola Florida ) so we can spend some weekends with our SAILOR!!!!   HAVE A GREAT TIME @ P.I.R.& I WISH YOU & YOUR SR THE BEST IN LIFE....

Got another letter today!!!! March 6TH they had the gas chamber and boy did their eyes get it lol... The 7TH was Final phase Personnel inspection & the DIV have practiced 6 times to help each other out... (nice team work 94) they should have done firefighting & test 3 by now so we are just waiting on BST21....  He said he is known as BROCK LESNAR because everyone including RDC's & other PETTY OFFICERS think he resembles him... LMAO... He was held back for not getting his chain of directions / chain of command, "not attention to detail thank goodness"  He ended his letter saying he can't wait to see us and that he looks spiffy.... lol

Got a letter today! He's ready to be done, but things are good.  Getting great scores on inspections and passed firefighting and gas chamber.  I hope they are doing BS21 tonight and we get calls tomorrow!

I think they will call today or tomorrow, I am so excited  I will jump every time the phone ring's & to think in just in 3 day's we will be holding our  S A I L O R S   come on phone & ring!!!!!  WITH GOOD NEWS.. LOL

Let me know if you got " THE CALL " tell him great job on the inspections........ com-on-Friday.... lol

Y es, got the call! And a letter today!
