My nephew was in the Coast Guard and he's a fireman/medic in Austin, TX.  He is originally from Tennessee and loves Texas. I think your son will welcome the change in weather there.  Have a good week and I'll stay in touch.  Looking forward to March 16!!!

Good morning everyone!  We are staying at the Residence Inn for 3/16 graduation.  Please let me know if any of you are planning to stay there.  It sounds like a great hotel and the staff at the reservations desk were very helpful.

I hope its a great week for letters and phone calls:)

I got my form letter on Friday too.  If they got to start writing last night then we should see letters in our mailboxes around Wednesday.  I promise to be patient until then....after that, my mailman is going to start seeing alot of me  LOL

My boyfriend is on Ship 09, Div 087. Missing him so much! Cannot wait to receive a letter, sent one out to him the other day. Minordetails42 is his wonderful mother who is taking care of me in his absence. :)

Elena...Welcome!! This is a great place to spend time while you count down the days to PIR.  My son's girlfriend is in DC at college but meeting us in GL for graduation.  It's a wonderful thing for you and your SR's mom to have each other during this time away from him.   We will all be so proud of our Sailors on March 16!!  Hope to see you and Minordetails42 there:)
