I know we just got calls last weekend. But how often do they get to call? Do not we know when to expect our next calls? Or will the next guaranteed call be the "I'm a sailor call"

I just got word that my daughter is in ship 12 Div 124. I can't wait to give her an ENORMOUS HUG!!!! :-)

KoonAss:  Good idea to do that.  They have some Navy stationery to write on, but maybe in limited supply?  That is what my son wrote home on when he was there back in 2009/2010.  It always helps to have extra paper, envelopes, and stamps!

navymom:  Hotels that we have never heard bad info about on this site are the following:

Navy Lodge (book in your SR's name and tell them it is for graduation....if you book online, tell them when you arrive)...Springhill Suites, Courtyard, Residence Inn, Holiday Inn Express.  The last 4 I mentioned are close together, near a large Walmart center with restaurants nearby....close to Sarge's MeetandGreet (I believe within walking distance from Springhill).  Be sure to ask for the Navy Graduation rate (call these 4 hotels directly). Will save you 10-15 percent.

Marie:  It depends on your sailor!  Some want you to bring comfy clothes to wear in the room, their phone, laptop, want to take a long shower.....without shipmates :-) ....and rest in the rooms.  They have to be in full uniform out of the rooms, but can do what they want in the rooms.  Others have been cooped up too long and want to go out and do things!  There is a nice mall nearby .... Gurnee Mills....with theaters too....lots of sailors go there.  Everything there is relatively close but Springhill would be a little closer to the mall.  Both of the hotels you have chosen are good ones!

I sent, with our letter, self addressed stamped envelopes with a piece of paper in them. That way they don't have to scrounge for paper or remember an address.

That's close Montana! We will be super pregnant when we see our SRs again (: I've already picked out outfits that accentuate my belly :p

Thanks lionness! Hoping those letters arrive today (:

That's great Jodie!! I'm sure that will be a huge moral booster for your husband and he will love to see his little ones letters too.  Take care of yourself!

No actual letter yet :( .  I'm sure they will arrive shortly.  The phone call last Sunday made my week! Ship 02 Div 920
