Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 119 and 120

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Praying for all our loved ones on Ship 11:)

Waiting for March 28th, can't hardly stand it, did get a short phone call Saturday morning and sounded like everything was going great. have not received any hand written letters yet.....but I have sent just a few.....

I received a letter yesterday!!! Seems like everything is going ok. have not started PT yet but will be soon. Has anyone else received any news?

Yes we received a letter yesterday too!! In the letter he told us the physical testing would start this past Monday. Is that was PT stands for? My son is in 120.
Two sat. In a row my sailor has called me.. He got his wisdom teeth pulled... My heart hurts today, he's Been gone since Jan 27 got his box a few letters ,and i write everyday, first call, home sick, now been in bed rest for four days, and I hurt inside.. Time is ticking I know this. But this is hard Today!! Knowing the discomfort he's going thru. Hurry 3/28.

my son had his teeth pulled also, When we got the first call he seemed ok but the call I received Saturday he was a little homesick and down in the dumps. I just hope we can all hold on untill March 28th

Yes me too it hurts to hear a sad little voice..May God Bless them ALL,!

My son also had his lower wisdom teeth removed, I was really surprised when he told me, looks like others had the same deal?  I can't wait to see him again, 3/28 can't get here soon enough.  I miss him.

I am new here and though my son is a grown man with his own family...well, my Grandmother said it best when she said it doesnt matter how old your child is they will always be your "baby"! (and of course I never say that out loud!) He turned 25 on Valentine's Day, and that was hard for me...I did ok the day he left and work long hours so dont have much idle think time...but his b-day...I cried a lot that day...it hit me that my little boy was really grown(well, having a wife and child didnt so much because they live close by) Is anyone from Georgia? or have a "nuke" saailor?

Hello everyone,   my son is in Div 119.  did anybody received calls from SR in div 119 recently?

my son is also in DIV 119, he called saturday evening 2/15/14 at about 6:30 or 7.

My son is in 119 and his wife got the call Sat the 15th! She was thrilled...it was 20+ min. My son is David and is probably "Pops" to most of the guys...lol...he turned 25 on the 14th....he and his wife have a 16 mo old. His wife said he sounded real good...it was tough but he's hanging in!
Where are you from?
