Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 133 and 134

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Was the area code 847 I missed a call from unavailable. Not sure if it was my sailor
Received a phone call yesterday and a letter today! What a great end to my week. My SR is doing well and positive.
Congrats to those who heard from their SR's and I'm praying for communication from the others Hang in there they
are all thinking of us as we are them.
Was watching a program last evening and the music made me so emotional. Do any other moms find they cry at just about anything now? This is not normal for me, however since my SR left I'm very sensitive .
Thank you so much Huskymom, for validating my emotions and tears. I'm the only girl in a long line of men in my family so I usually kept my emotions in control. At PIR I plan on letting it all out. I can not wait to experience it all. Hope to meet you. Love the grocery shopping story, such great memories in such simple everyday tasks with our SR's. Aren't those almost always the best times. Everyday tasks.
Good morning ladies, hope you all have a wonderful day. Keep phones with you just in case. 26 and counting.

Hello to everyone here.  I have a SR in division 133, This site has been comforting for me. Great information, Single mom, empty nest I don't feel so lost and alone. Looking forward to graduation. Coming in on Amtrak any great tips on how to get into Great Lakes and getting around. I noticed that a lot of folks booked at the Navy Lodge. I thought I would have to be military. Will check.

Hi Yvan,

My SR is in div. 133 also. I don't know much about Amtrak, however we are staying at Navy Lodge and prices are really great do no need to be military, but you should let them know you are coming in fir PIR and you have an SR. Where are you coming from?

South Carolina

Hello everyone!! How are you all doing? I must say, they really spoiled us with the last two phone calls because now I find myself wishing I'd see that 847 area code would pop up on my phone all the time. Who else looks forward to Thursdays so much to get letters?! They always leave a smile on my face that last until the next time I find envelopes in my mailbox. I was thinking about our men a lot this past week because my letters said that the past week was supposed to be really tough... :/ Can't wait until the 29th!!! Hope to meet some of you :)

All I have are the 3 letters. I missed his phone call last week. I know what you mean about Thursdays. My favorite day of the week. Can't wait until the 29th. :))))))

I must have read the letters a million times. I read them every night before I go to sleep. Makes me not miss him as much... Rows girl, will you be going to the Meet and Greet the day before PIR??

I got my tickets before I knew about the meet and greet and we won't land until 10 pm so I am afraid not unless I can find another flight landing earlier. I would love to go. :)
