Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 131 and 132
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi, my son shipped out from Kansas City also. Where you there on Jan. 29th? I remember a couple with 2 little boys.
Haha! That was probably us. :) There was another woman and a little girl with us.
The idea of someone we don't know remembering that, is kind of scary! I hope we didn't make a bad impression. lol.
Oh no! Your boys were well behaved. I was shocked that so few families came to see the swearing in. I think I counted only 4 recruits having family there. to me that was kind of sad. I wanted my son to know I was there for him every step of the way.
Haha. I remember wishing they would sit down, and be still! You're sweet to remember them like that though. :)
And I understand what you mean. It was really sad. I promised my husband that no matter what I would be there. <3
I'm not sure. :) I'll be flying up with his mother and grandparents, and our two little boys. We'll see how it works out. :) Also, I read that he is only allowed to have 3 guests?
Nevermind. I guess three guests aside from myself..So that would equal 4. haha
I am in central florida near Ocala...
kinda close :)
maryland, eastern shore. Close to the atlantic ocean and the chesapeake bay.
Hello Everyone! Only 24 days and a wake up until PIR and we get to hug our loved ones. My son is in Div 131. We are staying at Navy Lodge and attending Sarge's Meet and Greet the night before. We have received 3 letters and 2 phone calls. I was very sad when we did not get a call this past Saturday. Oh well, I will keep thinking positive thoughts for this next Saturday. I am looking forward to meeting everyone!!
Look forward to meeting you too aka Red
