Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 131 and 132

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

lauraleigh629 - loved the letter from your son - thanks for sharing.  I will have to ask my daughter if she knew anything about that incident.  Yes, God does work in mysterious ways.  Your son sounds like a nice young man and I know you must be so proud of him.  Funny, my daughter said that being in boot camp has brought her closer to God and that she is praying more now than she used to.  Even though my daughter is a little older than some of the ones in boot camp (she just turned 24), I definitely see that she has matured some in that short period of time.  Just 2 more weeks!!!

Sorry lauraleigh629 - I just realized that was a letter from your daughter - the same applies, lol.  Our girls may even know each other:-)

They very well could.  We will have to trade stories at Sarge's M&G...

You have heard from you daughter when was that? Some of us have not heard in two weeks does anyone know why. Does anyone know how hell week went?

So has anyone heard from the kid this last week?  I didn't get a letter or a phone call, in fact the last phone call I got was March 7 and the last letter was March 6.

Has anyone heard from their sailors in the last two weeks. This is moss34 and I am a new Navy mom and kind off worried.

I got a letter also on thurs, It was dated 3/10, no phone call :(

If no one else has heard anything, I am not going to worry!

Received a letter Thursday. But someone else on either this site or the Navy Recruit site. Said we would get a phone call 21st or 22nd. That they would no longer be recruits , They would become Sailors!!!! Hoping for them all for this time. I'm sure they have worked hard for this.

I got a letter on Thursday. No phone call though.

Her letter was dated the 10th.  The last phone call we got was that Friday but I would not worry too much as she said that they were in the middle of hell week and the weekend was in the middle of that week so I know they are really busy.  I imagine that they are gearing up for BattleStations and their I'm a sailor phone call.  If you don't get that one, then I would start to worry.

Got a letter today.  He said that they are doing battlestation tomorrow and after that they get an awesome meal, calls home, maybe the internet and they will be sailors.  Can't wait to talk to him.
