LilBigMansMom, I am the one who makes the ribbons and scarves that proudmama is talking about. Send me a friend request and I will send you the info or you can email me at uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com    You and others in your DIV can pick a color for the scarves you would like to wear to PIR. As soon as you decide on a color let m e know because I keep a list of what each DIV has chosen. If you don't have many people in your division you can combine with your brother division and both do the same color. The ribbons are normally Navy Blue and you can get gold or silver letters and accents. The ribbons are a great way to show your pride for your Sailor :-)

Folks,

Just dropping a gentle reminder that if you have questions to please post here on the main pages…we are here for you! We have 5-7 PIR groups running at a time…that’s an average of 49+ Divisions. Right now with 5 PIR groups we have 51 Divisions (on a side note…that’s over 4000+ SR’s WHEW!)…we have three to four “veteran” moms available for the groups…so we spend our main time scoping out the main pages of a PIR group for questions and concerns…and to hear all your wonderful news about calls and letters!

We do try to skim through the discussions. I don’t like “intruding” (personally) they’re for y’all to chat…but do so mostly to see if there is a question and/or I have to do a little OPSEC work (Yes…I am the “hall monitor” LOL LaLa!).

I also try to make sure I am checking the Discussions that I post for questions…if I miss it…PLEASE BUG ME! I don’t mind…that is what I/We are here for!

This is not a “slam” post but an “I/We just want to be there for you one”!

Hope you are having a great weekend…FTLW

(This will be posted on every PIR group)

Here is some info on how to use the Discussion Forum area...just help your experience out on N4M's.

-Discussion Forum Area

This is the place to start a Discussion about a topic and for your Division Discussions.

The Discussion Forum area will only show twenty titles at a time. It is also set to show the "latest activity". So whatever has just had a reply added to it will "bump" up to the top. Whatever is at the bottom will disappear. So, if you want to see more click, "view all" at the bottom right hand corner of the discussion forum area. It is right up there above the Blue Comment Wall bar.

To "bump" up a discussion to the first spot of the DF area when you don't really want to add a reply...in other words someone is looking for it...just type whatever you want in the reply box and click "add reply". I just type one letter and add the reply. Then get rid of it by clicking the "x" in the top right hand corner. The discussion will stay up there at the top without your reply. It's because it has had "activity".

When you view a DF the first post ever made will be the first page. To get to the most current reply, click “Last Reply”.
