Our experiences today will help other other new moms and or family members in the future. So lets set a good example, so that our SRs too can be proud of us. I am flying American, SW was too much money either way. My son is staying in GL for school. He will be there for the rest of the year. I plan on going up with his brothers in June to see him. I will look at flights traveling that way then. Thanks
lisa: I'm not in this PIR group...just one of the N4Moms veterans who has stayed on the PIR sites to help (over 2 yrs now). When we went up for PIR, we flew American and arrived mid/late afternoon day before PIR. We booked through the weekend (out on Sunday morning) in case we could spend more time with our sailor. As it was, he flew out Sat. morning, so my other son and I did some sightseeing for the rest of the time.
When do you leave? Wish I had known back then about Southwest out of Ft Lauderdale. Flies either into Milwaukee (less traffic/45 minute straight shot to GL) or Chicago-Midway...no change fee, 2 bags checked for free. As it was, I had to change our flights once...sigh...paid change fee.
Diannep when are you arriving? When are you leaving?
lisa: Sent you a "friend request" with the Battlestations info for 107. Also commented on your page.
Good Morning to all! Congrats to all of you who has Sailors... I hope to get my phone call today...
Good morning everyone, Just 2 more days and north bound. When are the 107 expected to Battlestations. I see some are already thru.
Calls from 099/100/101/102 can start as early as 2pm GL time today, so have phones handy all day, ladies!
Congrats to the new sailors of 097/098/920/809! HOOYAH!
Just sent Message to Group with remaining BattleStations dates. Don't forget to check your junk mail/spam folders (in personal emails, not N4Moms emails) for this as sometimes these messages are kicked into there.
reno: There is a discussion group above for those needing rides from the airport--I just bumped it up towards the top. Be sure to post on there too! If someone is having SARGE pick them up about the time you get in, you may be able to ride with them. He charges by the car, so that would reduce the price for all of you.
