While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

They say they are forwarded but I am sure not all of them find their way to the sailors. They best thing is if you keep writing after that to make copies of your letter and give them to your Sailor to read while you are there or if you meet them at the airport they can take them with them.

lol FTLW, They moved into a town hose with a fenced in yard and the dogs are very happy. Joel has learned that he gets more attention at the front door than the back. So he jumps the fence and goes to the front door and scratches to get in lol.

FTLW- my Sailor has 2 dogs, one is a service dog and is a golden retriever. If you just say the word squirrel he will run from window to window in the house like crazy. She also have a blue-eyed mix that is husky and hound dog (looks like a hound dog with blue eyes) She bought them Halloween costumes and got Joel a hunter/camo costume and got a squirrel costume for the hound, Jack. Her crazy husband would yell :Look Joel, Squirrel" and Joel would pounce on poor Jack. It was soooo funny. Here is their Halloween pic :-)

I think I need to win the lottery, buy a small private Cessna, paint it Navy and Gold, with NavyforMoms on the outside and just fly down there and pick you up Dianne then we could go get FTLW lol. Of course there is a small problem with that. I have heard you can't win if you don't enter lol. You know my Sailor/daughter is in Aviation maybe she has a pilot friend who could help us out..... Oh, that wouldn't work those jets are built for one, Cessna it is :-)
