Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 137 and 138
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

It is going by fast, it seems like yesterday that she left.
Welcome Ampegv7, I have the feeling we all get a bit chocked up especially when we see the videos of the Faces of Boot Camp, Battle Stations21 and past Graduations. I think they are tears of pride. My daughter is in the brother div 138, they are training together. I hope they did good on their PFA. I am not sure this is the big one I think the one that counts is in week #6.
Ampegv7, I believe JRH has a son in your son's Div.
Another week come and gone. Down to 4wks. I understand last week was a little rough, and this week was not going to be much better. Hopefully next week things will be easier. Some of the moms with SR's from other ships and divisions will be meeting at Sarge's Meet & Greet at the Sundance Saloon in Waukegan. Are any of you going to that meet and greet and should wear something that we can recognize one another. They are wearing red scarfs w/ anchors (yellow anchors I believe).
Hi everyone! My son is on ship 03 Division 137. I heard from him via telephone 2 weeks in but nothing since. Has anyone else heard from theirs by telephone since? Just curious, thanks!
@Katrina Brown: My SR is in the same div. I have not gotten any phone calls recently either. I do know of one SR in this div who called his wife last night. She said that he told her they were extremely busy, prepping for PFA & BS. Sounded like they were working together better and all are anxious to get through BS and on to PIR.
Thank you so much for the reply!!! I feels so much better, I was beginning to worry =) Grateful to you, thanks!!!
Hi Ladies, My daughter is in the brother division 138 and we also have not gotten phone calls. I got a very very brief letter saying that they are extremely busy and training is very intense. She did not go into details. I know she is concentrating really hard to pass the PFA. I guess we just have to hang in there.
