Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 139 and 140

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Kitchen Kimmi and all,
My SR said they are all sick with a cold and there are serval different kinds of colds being passed around. He called it a septic pool of germs from all parts of the country. They are stressed, tried, and all living in one big room their only defense is washing their hands often. We need to keep that in mind when we are in GL. While wild horses could not keep me from hugging my son, I will be careful not it being germs back to family and friends, especially to the elderly. Big Germ Free Hug to All!

christophersMom (Ship09, Div139) Only again we are on the same page. My husband was the Director of Public Helath for the county.  Our home has harsh quarantine rules as well.  I have been know to uninvite sick folks to Thanksgiving dinner.  Sound awful, but I have a responsiblity to the more vulnerable guest.  And yes our SR will develop immunities but the processs is delayed as a resulted of stress and lack of sleep.  I am still going to hug my guy and wash my hand after..lol

HELLO MY NAVY MOMS.....YES YESTERDAY WAS WONDERFUL HEARING FROM OUR SON. THE DIVISION IS DOING GREAT! I AM SO PROUD OF ALL THEM AND ALL THEY HAVE ACCOMPLISHED. I JUST CANT WAIT TO SHARE IT WITH THEM! ONLY 19 DAYS LEFT AND WE CAN EMBRACE OUR NEW SAILERS AND BECOME "MOM" AGAIN EVEN IF ITS ONLY FOR A FEW HOURS.

SHERRY, I FEEL AWFUL THAT YOUR SON HAD THAT HAPPEN TO HIM FROM THE MEDICATION. I AM SENDING PRAYERS TO HIM AND REMEMBER FROM THE SOUNDS OF IT HE HAS A GREAT DIVISION FOR SUPPORT. SENDING YOU A HUG FROM ONE MOM TO ANOTHER. MY SON ASWELL HAD HIS WISDOM TEETH PULLED AND ALL HE SAID WAS IT WAS PAINFUL. BUT I KNOW HOW IT FEELS NOT BEING ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF THEM WHEN WE THINK THEY NEED OUR MOTHERING.

My SR said that he has been sick, too, since shortly after he arrived.  It wasn't going away so the medical clinic gave him antibiotics last week.  He said the antibiotics in his system probably saved him from getting pink eye which is going around.

Hi all,

(Ship 09, Div 140)

My son called on Wednesday to tell me he is a sailor, and he told me about the red scarves! He said his shipmates told him, because their moms were talking on Navy4Moms, so how's that for a chain of communication?

Looking forward to meeting you at PIR.

Eilene

You got a call he is a Sailor? It is still at least a week away for this group to go through BS, so...?

Scooter64, you got a call from your SR saying he is a sailor? That is great and congrats to your SR. MY SR is in the same ship 09 div140 and we never got that call. Last time we talked we were told this up coming week is the week to become a sailor. I hope nothing happen to my SR. Did anyone else get the call as well?

A little early for BS for this group.

Ellen0502, very odd post on a support group, I hope your day gets better. Smile it's Friday:)

Not so odd DebbieA. BS=Battlestations

So sorry Ellen0502 I saw your other post and thought this post "a little early for BS for this group" you meant the other BS But now I am thinking you are saying battle station. So sorry for the confusion and I hope this makes you laugh.

It made me giggle because I knew you thought something else. I wouldn't post that, but I would post something like this.

Swearing Rage

Rolling laughter

Have a grand day!!
