~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Ship 11 div 142 our color is purple for the meet n greet so purple flower, scarf or hair ribbon. Should help us to better find one another:) Rhonda I believe that is the color you were wanting right?

They do BattleStations in division numerical order, other than the 900 and 800 divisions which are more random.  However, the 900 divisions usually do not go before PIR week, whereas the 800 divisions can go the week before PIR or during PIR week, depending on their DOT.

Comment by diannep on March 16, 2014 at 8:15am

push divisions have no rhyme or reason in training days (ellen can add to this)....but they still do BattleStations with their brother division.

Comment by diannep on March 16, 2014 at 8:12am

Arkey:  It is common for divisions to do BattleStations on Thurs nights, but the Thursday night during the week before PIR week, not during PIR week.  Lately, the nights they go have been:  Thurs night week before PIR week, M-W nights during PIR week.  Sometimes they go on Sunday nights, but haven't lately.  They don't always go on Wed nights during PIR week, but have done that some since the beginning of the year.

Comment by diannep on March 16, 2014 at 8:10am

Arkey:  Its just that I have never heard of brother divisions being on different training days...unless there is a very unusual situation where they briefly are and then they catch up to the other one.  I know for a fact that brother divisions do BattleStations together.

Glad you enjoyed it, Gracie!  It has truly been a remarkable and stressful journey for Brett!

Good Morning All !

christophersMom, That could be very probable. I can only say definitely about 141..(smile). But I also have 135/136 a day apart, too. I know they don't do BS on Fri/Sat and seldom Thursday. Being a push division it appears they are pushing right up to the last minute where not getting a phone call could just be logistics
