Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 157 and 158

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

NavywifeAY it's a catered dinner to families of SRs to meet & greet each other held the night before PIR.
NavywifeAY, on the left hand side of your screen, scroll down to events, and click on Sarge's meet & greet April 14 PIR 4/15. That will tell you all about it.

good after noon, USS HOPPER . I wanted to pass on I had read somewhere that at Sarges Meet and Greet, that some decorated there table. I spoke to Sarge and he said tables are small and Recommended a "sign" be made so that we can hang by our area so people know where the Division is setting.  Those that are able to attended. anyone intested in making a sign. not sure how big.

something fun simple: suggestion

Ship 03 (USS Hopper) Divisions 157 and 158

Let me know.  I am sure no need to make 80 signs. one would do.

something to keep busy till we leave.

Got a long call from my SR son!!! He's Ship 3 Div 157. Keep your phones close! Got to talk for almost an hour! He's great. Said they're currently in hell week. But I didn't hear any complaints. They did live fire yesterday I think. They got an academic flag! He's passed all of his test so far. He said at graduation he wants to sleep!
Got a call too today, best birthday present & Easter ever! Pretty much the same info! Ship 3/Div 158. :-)

I am getting so excited for next week...I can hardly contain myself!

I'm with you on that. I'm currently in school, and having a really hard time concentrating on homework. Trying to make myself to calm down, focus, & keep it together. The closer it gets the worse I get. Lol

Has anyone heard from their recruits yet? My husband and I have been glued to our phones waiting for the "I am a Sailor" call....and nothing yet! Wah!!! I am so nervous!

I've not heard a peep from my son since Easter weekend...hang in there, just a few more days :-)

We got the call!!!! I cannot wait to see my sailor on Friday!
