Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 147 and 148

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Lades,
I ordered my son the "Sailors Creed" coin tonight. It should be here by Friday. It's a great looking coin. I thought about getting him the USS Hopper, but...I didn't.
I, too, have not heard from him, in about a week! It was strange going through a whole week without a letter, but I guess I should be thankful. I know it's going to be much harder once he's on the sub.
Take care everyone, and know with great peace...it won't be much longer now!!

My husband is Ship 03, Div 148. Would be happy to get in touch with anyone with SRs in  this division or anyone going to San Antonio for A school!!!!! I plan on attending the Meet & Greet, I will be going solo to the graduation. Judging from other groups, it seems like a lot of people are staying at the Ramada or  Navy Lodge- looks like I am the odd one out as I will be staying at Motel 6, anyone else?

We will be at the Ramada.  Find us and you can sit with me and my crew.  I will have the hubs, our 15 yr old and my SR's twin brother.  I can't wait!  The Kiddo will be going to Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri for A School.  I'm not sure how much time we will have with him after PIR, but we're not leaving until Sunday to drive home.

I can't wait to meet everybody!
