N4M's Community Guidelines

OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Hi navy moms. It has been almost one year since our Sailors went in. Hard to believe. Just wanted to say hello to all of you that helped me so much during their time in boot camp. I sure do love being able to talk with my Sailor now!

My son graduated from A school last week with honors and started C school this week in Pensacola. We were able to spend time with him over the 4th, so that was a blessing. Fingers are crossed that he'll have some liberty before heading to his permanent duty station in Norfolk. It amazes me that he's grown up so much, but is still the son I've always loved so dearly.

Hi navy sisters. Seems like so long since I have been on. We were thru so much together. My daughter just finished A school in Pensacola. Still more schooling to go but she is happy. GreT place to visit. We were down before A school graduation. So sorry I missed it but I will be to C school graduation for sure. Anyone else notice how much our kids have grown up? Amazing! Wish you all the best!

Hi my Navy sisters.  I see some of you have seen your sailors graduate from Sub school, which my friend's husband is a sub :)

I just wanted to give you an update of what life has brought to us:

I have been blessed with created a blog for wives and military wives to encourage them in this emotional roller coaster.  It is for all branches and I hope to bring hope to wives who really are having a hard time while being a military wife.  You can check it out:

And also on facebook

Besides that ladies I am just enjoying San Antonio and staying indoors because last time I was outside at Six Flags, I thought I was going to die lol

Love all of you :)

This is been a crazy ride!! I just spent the last week in Meridian with my Daughter. She Graduated A School on Wednesday and I was able to be there!!! We met the Commander and his Wife and kids. Such nice people! My younger daughter and I drove down from MN and spent the weekday evenings in 'the pit' with the Sailors. We met so many wonderful people, played cards, brought snacks and just learned a TON! So glad we had the opportunity to see what she has been doing, where she has been living etc. I wouldn't have missed it for the world....I could do without the heat down there though...YIKES!!!! Now she is off to her next adventure and we are already making plans to visit her in October!! So very proud of her I just can't explain it!!!!

Hi beautiful women :) how has everyone been doing since our almost two months ago time together?  I miss chatting with y'all and hope your sailors are doing amazing.  My husband has been doing good in San Antonio, grades are amazing and we will find out our orders within two weeks I hope.  I have been working on a website, which has been very time consuming and have a facebook page up and running.  If you want to know any info on the page let me know and I can message y'all.  Hope everyone has been having a wonderful two months :)
