Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 175 and 176.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello! my son is in Div 176. We are from Seattle, Washington. Look forward to getting to know you all.

Do you know where is your son going after BC?

By the way, although i am older but not a cougar, he loves for me, he is my husband i am totally fine with it.
Don't feel bad, we are fine with it!!!! No hard feelings!!!

Anyway to answer your question, as far as i know, he is going to San Antonio, TX to a Hospital Medica A school.

What about your SR, son/daughter or hubby? Where is your SR going? What div and ship is he/she with?

Are you coming to the Sarge's Meet and Greet on May 2?  I hope to see you there.  I'll be there with my brother, David and both of us will attend my, SR husband, the next day, May 3 PIR.  We are staying in the Navy Lodge.  I hope to see and meet you there, my best regards to you and your family, Marika.

Are you on the facebook page for our group? I need some info for a flag that I am making and just wanted to make sure if you are going to meet and greet that I had your husbands name.

Mine is Div 175. Glad to meet other loved ones!

Mine is in Div 175 also! So glad to find other mamas here! Hope mine meets new friends quickly!

Hi! My son is Div 175 also. Still looking for a letter, I have recieved his form letter and so very anxiously awaiting a phone call...I always got onto him because he wouldn't ever put his phone down and when I recieved it in his box it broke my heart! That thing was his lifeline...and now I won't even go to the bathroom without mine! We are from Denison, TX. actually Bells but no one has ever heard of it. I would love to get to know some of you before PIR. This group of men and women will always have this bond and in sense we will also. I guess it just makes it easier for me to know some of you who are going thru the same emotions I am.

I am exactly the same way!! I live with my phone and am constantly double checking to see if the sound got accidently on.  My heart broke when I say his phone too!  My son is in Div 175 too.  I still get emotional at times and every moment I'm thinking what is he doing now!  You are not alone!

has anyone gotten a call yet?

I got a call yesterday! It was only 2 minutes and it was because he needed info that he didn't bring with him. Either way, I'm happy to have gotten the call!

My husband is Ship 14 Div 175

hey all- I just made our hotel reservations at the Ramada...now to find out where he's flying out of and when (to go to SC on Saturday) then we can make flight reservations and a rental car. Any advice on how to go about that?

Lisa
