Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 171 and 172

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

We got a call also, sounded great, yea!

I just got off the phone with my girl!! 40 minutes this time!!

Yiiippppeeeeeeee!

She is doing very well, happy, confident and not nearly as tired (of course 2 days in SIQ will do that)

She told me lots of things including that she DID have her wisdom teeth removed and the name of her two of her friends there! One of those friend's mom I already know and have talked to, the other one has a last name that starts with a H. If you think that might be your daughter please friend me and send me a message, I know something your daughter needs.

My daughter said they are getting a late start on calls today, but they are starting now!

And the tiny little paintings I have sent her, she really loved them and wants more!!

I am sooooooooo happy!!!

Yay!! :)

I got a call today too :) my SR said that they have a lot of sick ppl right now that its just running through the DIV but all is well and they might not get to call for a while not to expect a call next week. He sounded great but  a little tired

Its been a great weekend so far got to talk to my SR and my daughter came home from FSU for the weekend :)

My SR just called me and he is doing great!! He said the division is doing just fine. No issues he is aware of. He passed the PT test with flying colors and they are in the middle of week 2 of training. He said he loves it there but not much time for writing. So.. I guess I will stop eagerly checking the mail every day, Oh well. As long as he is doing well, I don't mind and I will keep sending him letters. He said he loves getting the letters from me. :)

Oh, I am so glad he called! That is two Saturdays in a row.

Happy Momma here!! All that worry for nothing. :)

Can't wait for PIR!!
My son called too! 40 minutes too! He sounded great! He also mentioned a couple names too, but I didn't write them down. I'm much happier now knowing that he and his unit have gotten " in the groove" I hope and pray they keep it up!
It's amazing how one phone call make everything better. :)

My SR called today too, YEAH!!! Sounded great but has been very sick for several days now :' (  Their div has not had much time to write but felt tomorrow they will be able too. I told my SR that as much as I would love to receive a letter that studying and getting rest was way more important and to do what is best for you at that time. It was such a great conversation.

I am one happy momma!!!!
