Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 189 and 190

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I see PunkIdoll that your son is in the same ship and div as my son.  I looked at some pics on here and I look and look for my son.  I would give a tooth just to see his face and hug him right now.  So miss him and him telling us that he is fine.

Do they ever post pictures?  I would love to see him.  I didnt know it would be so hard.

I'm new to this ... where are pictures at to see?  Having a really hard time trying to navigate around.

Cute Kitty

I haven't received any letters at all from my son and neither has his fiance.  Was wondering if anyone else in Div. 189 had received any letters or phone calls?

I have gotten phone calls from my son but not any letters yet. They can only mail out letters once a week and last week they didnt get picked up.

I Received Letters Today, Be On The lookout

My son is Ship 12 div 189 and I have not received any letters from him.  Phone calls yes  on Saturday afternoon.  He graduates May 17.  does your son?  He called on Saturday and thank goodness my daughter in law was visiting us because we all chatted with him!  Good luck DsMomma!  I understand they are really busy and I know my boy is not into writing letters and stuff.  So I write him everyday.  Hang in there.

My Son Is Ship 12 Div 189 PIR 5/17 He Called his Fiance This Evening And We Both Received Several Letters Today. He Said They Usually Get To Call When They Go To The NEX On Saturday 5Pm Chicago Time. He Sounded Really Good, He's Been Sick With A Bad Cold ThE Whole Time, But He Really Is Enjoying BC. He Is Very Proud To Be A Section Leader And Says His Group Consists Of 15 Guys Plus Him, And He Thinks The World Of Them. He Says They Are Quiet And respectful And They Really Take Care Of Each Other. Us Moms Should Be so Proud Of Those Great Men We Have Raised!

Awesome!  So he's with my son!  My boy called Saturday and he had a cold too!  I think its the confined quarters.  That's about the time he called too.  I am very proud of my son.  I just wish the weather would get nicer for them.

Just got a call from my daughter SHIP 12 DIV 190   She said other than possible "bravo calls"  This would be the last one until Battlestations.    She sounded great!  Feeling better ....  she was SIQ for one day due to upper respiratory infection.  She says that 4 girls in the div have been sent home so far.
