Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 191 and 192

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Super Cute Bunny Waving

Good Morning! Today is going to be a good day!

Thank you setting up this group.  My daughter is in Div 192.

Good morning, thank you for taking the time to do this, I am looking forward to getting to know more moms!!!

Thank you for the page. I think I finally found the right page..daughter is Div192

Anyone have a SR going to Pensacola for A school after graduation?

Loe the waving bunny Ellen!!!! Has anyone heard from their son/daughter? For some reason, today has been long and kinda bummed. I think I am missing my daughter a lot. Well, let me correct that, I am missing her a great deal.

Hello everyone, I would like to share something with you and hopefully will put your mind at ease.  Some of already know this because we PM'd.  I wanted to keep it on the lo down because I didn't want my son getting into any trouble for answering my questions.  But my son called me yesterday afternoon because he needed some references info. He said they have not written letters yet and they haven't received any yet. He said he will call again on Sunday which might very well be the whole division. They didn't touch his wisdom teeth but they will revisit them next year. He was extremely tired and could barely hold a thought. Major sleep deprivation.  He did laugh a couple of times and asked how his dog was. And Monday was their first day of PT. Processing this whole time. I held it together during the whole conversation until the end when I said goodbye and he said he loved me and I lost it. I was at work. My coworkers knew it was him on the phone and came running to hug me and give me tissues. This is still the very beginning and its so darn hard. So I just wanted to tell u ladies know because I feel your pain every time I see a message about waiting for letters.  I was sooooo happy to hear his voice.  It really made my day and I feel guilty in a way because you are all waiting to hear your child's voice as well.  Take care everyone.  Hugs to all!

MassMomS14/D192, thank you so much for sharing.  I'm reading this and could not hold back the tears.  You are right, this is just the beginning and we have a long way to go.  Although, in the grand scheme of things, 8 weeks (now 6) is not that long.  I would just like to get a letter or a phone call for peace of mind.  My daughter has been gone before for 3 months (working in Texas) but she stayed with family and I could call her anytime.  This is so much harder.  I'm very proud of her and what she has chosen to do with her life.  Sending big hugs to all the moms on here.  I know we could all use one.  Have a great day.

Teri, I feel the same as you. I am off work this work for our Spring Break, and I am normally keeping myself so busy or working on new projects around the house. This week, it is as though I have hit a hard spot. I know it is from not being able to talk to her and or receive a letter. It is good to be able to open to you and other moms knowing that I am not the only one to be going through this. Big hugs to all of you. Have a great day!

Thank you for sharing this! I've been wondering what's going on and it's really nice to hear an update.

Massmoms, thank you for sharing your story with us. Don't feel bad you talked with your son. If anything it does help to hear what he said about what they are doing and not doing. Still no letter for me, maybe tomorrow.
