Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 928
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I just got my first letter from my son....WOOHOO!!! I am so happy....can't stop smiling. Of course when I read it I was crying a little....lol!! He says BC is tough but he is doing fine, and the food is good, everyone is nice. He did say that this shimates are cool, but some of them don't know how to shut up...lol!! I thought that was funny. He said he has 2 pretty important posisions in his divison...he is guidon, which means he walks at the front of the division when they march with a flacg to let people know when to turn, stop, etc. He is also in the drumline and will be playing at graduation. I am so gosh darn proud :) Just thought I would let you all know. Hope you have gotten a letter from your SR and that everthing is going well for them.
My daughter was home today and said my first letter came. I can't wait to go home and read it.
Just heard from my son.....WOOHOO!! He sounds GREAT and said that things are going real good. I am just so happy right now, it was so great to hear his voice and he sounded just the same as before bootcamp. I don't know why but not knowing what they are doing to my baby I guess I thought he was going to sound different, maybe run down and depressed, but he doesn't he sounded real upbeat and happy. What a huge relief!! He said that depending on what is happening they get to call on Friday, Saturday, & Sundays and be ready!! Funny thing is that after the first few things to talk about I then did not know what to say to him, kinda felt bad. I never run out of things to say, I just kept telling him how happy I was to hear his voice, how good he sounded, how proud I am of him. It was weird....lol!! Hope you get your call soon. I am going to go do more happy dancing!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!
