For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Motherof3sons, From the sounds of it, when xoxo's husband arrived and your son arrived there is at least a full week difference. Since they are in brother divisions and will train together your sons division was probably put on hold until the last division (and possibly your sons) of the training group was filled. This is not unusual for the last two divisions in a training group.

Thank you xoxo-mariana. My son is in Ship 13 Div 203. My son arrived on March 27th (2 weeks ago). From reading below, it sounds like he is in a push division. Does anyone know if that is correct? If yes, why would he be in that division if he arrived 2 weeks ago and graduates on May 24th? Sorry if it is a question that has already been answered.

@Motherof3sons He arrived a week ago, we were planning on his PIR date being May 31, but is graduating a week early. I talked to several people on here, and his recruiter, and they all informed me that the only way to graduate earlier is if you are in a push division.

xoxo mariana, don't forget to ask your husband to let you know what week and day of training he is on and what he will be doing the following week, then don't listen to the others and what their SR is doing on that week and day...LOL.
Divisions 203/204 may be doing things on different days and possibly different weeks than the other divisions because of the push (they will be close though).
My son was in a push (BS was at the beginning of week six not the end) and I was so confused the first few weeks, nothing was following what the others were doing. :)

I posted on here early this morning unsure if my husband WAS in DIV 204, I can now say I KNOW! It is SUCH a weight off your shoulders when you KNOW what is to come. I feel 10,000,000 times better! He is Ship 13, DIV 204. In a push division so I may have LESS chance of hearing from him now! That is ok though, right now I am too busy booking a flight and hotel! Lol, Memorial Day weekend here we come!
