~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Division 929 mom's....SR's are calling home right now...answer your phones!
Yes...he's always wanted to be a SEAL...a sniper for the longest time....a weird goal, but somebody's gotta do it! ;) He's already got his game plan mapped out and he's DOING IT! Yay for him! I'm so proud!!! Are you guys going to the meet and greet? I would love to meet you all there!!! Thanks for the ribbon link! I appreciate it! Keep our chins up!!! lol
Thanks so much everyone, i am so glad you like the ribbons. The new Navy and Yellow ones are definitely the new favorite :)
BPATT, that is the best test I have ever heard of. Wish they were taking that when my daughter was there :) So happy for all of you and I am hoping it means more phone calls for everyone!!!!
Thanks mindshaper87 and diannep for the links. I love those ribbons... I will have to decide which ones to get as well.
trueblue-it's tough isn't it? just makes me feel closer when I can hear his voice and read his writing. Hang in there--we are all here for you!
Hayden's mom- I'm sure he loves receiving the stats and passes them around to his fellow SRs.
mindshaper: Thinking that this could have been the pills they received:

Happy Bday to your sone BPATT'SMom 205! Glad to hear there are some other youngsters there. My SR said most are in their 20s. My SR is also 18 and will turn 19 while at BC in May...probably during battlestations.
I also got a call and letter. In the letter he said he was sick. On the phone he said he was feeling a little better. Didn't mention anything about a pill. Does anyone know what that is about???
trueblue25 is your SR wanting to be a SEAL? sounds like he is almost there and is working hard! I wonder if our boys have met??
Aww..BPATT'sMom..Happy Birthday to your boy. Glad you got a letter and phone call! I send the MLB standings every week..we are diehard Yankee fans, and when he called yesterday one of the first things he said was please send the NBA playoff info as well..so our boys think alike. Keeping you close in my thoughts as you celebrate the birth of your son :)
Good afternoon to all!!! I got a letter from my SR yesterday and he's doing GREAT!!! He's already ranked up and said he's close to being able to do what the SEALS have to do to try out. He is a few pushups short and about 31 seconds slow!!! I'm so proud....and happy for him. My heart is still breaking because I miss him so much, even called a councelor today, but when I get good news like that from him, it makes it bearable! I hope everybody has a good day and that God blesses all our SR's! Also, how do I get some of these ribbons???? Thank you for your help and support!
