For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 201 and 202
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

My husband's last letter said battleships should be Tuesday and Wednesday. We should hear something soon.

I'm with the rest of you. I dare not leave my phone for a second. My husband is in 201 and I'm anxious that I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks. I know we have to be patient but I also know to expect a call. This is tough.

My SR also is in div 201 and we are waiting for that call also am getting so excited!!!!!!!

Hoping today is the day but it might not be till tomorrow. My phone rang while in class the other day and I rushed to it. All my fourth graders were saying, "Is it him, is it him?" So disappointed when it wasn't. We're all on pins and needles. :)

Awwww, exciting the children are all waiting too, precious. It has been tough waiting on that call, but we'll get our calls tomorrow for sure. I'm so excited and have been glued to my phone. Every time it rings I fumble to answer it, lol....looks like we're all on pins and needles. I can't wait to meet all of you and to see our SR's. May GOD give our SR's strength through battle stations, what an accomplishment in the end. Safe travels all!!

Your absolutely right today is our day having to go to work but my phone won't leave my side so exited for all our SR.Such a huge accomplishment for them!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from my husband, Div 201, he is a SAILOR. I am so proud. He said everyone who made it into the battleships passed but some people got bumped for not passing other tests along the way. I don't know if that is helpful to anyone or not.

Got our call too. So proud of him! When he joined he was 6'3" - 135 lbs. says he's gained 20 lbs. Mostly upper body muscle. Can't wait to see him!
