Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 189 and 190

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Lag - My SR is also on Ship O3 Div 190 and will be going to Pensacola, FL for A school.

I wonder if they are friends :-)

I just joined the group. I'm from GA. My SR is with ship3 division 190. Still waiting to see exactly where his A school will be. So far I've rec'd one letter and 3 phones but 2 of them I missed.

Just goined the group.  My SR is with Ship 3 Dvision 189.  Counting down the time until graduation!

Robbin C, my son is also in that DIV! What will be your SR's rating?

My son is also with Ship 3 Division 189. I'm counting down the days to graduation because I miss that kid BAD!! He's my oldest, and I'm very proud of him. Just saw a pic of him with the whole Division and it made my entire day!!

Mimi0522..... When did you receive your third phone call? My SR is in the same ship and division. I've received 3 letters but 2 phone calls. From his last set of letters, he was suppose to call last Wednesday, but the phone never rang. I was just wondering. Thanks.

The last call was on the 19th of April. I also go the letter dated around the 26th of April saying that he would be making a phone call call shortly, but nothing yet. I'm thinking they may make the call on Mother's Day. My other son graduated last year and he called me on Mother's Day.

Hello, my son is on Ship 03 Div 189.  We are from Arizona. My son was in RCU since early February, due to a knee injury, but he's healed and was transferred into Div 189 a week and half ago. He's so excited to be back at it, and to be graduating June 6.  I look forward to getting to know you all.

@llcharle75
Sorry to hear about the injury.
That is awesome!
It won't be long now.

@mimi0522

It is coming up quick, and I'm so excited. It was tough when my son had to transfer to RCU to recover, but they took care of him, and he was so happy to transfer back out and get back into training. We are scrambling to prepare once again to take the trip for graduation, but all in all, it's going to happen. I'm super proud! :)

From Tuesday trivia with the RTC, here is division 189. Click the picture to enlarge!
