Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 195 and 196

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yay GrannyP!  Ours was exactly 2 minutes and I was walking on clouds for a couple of days from just that!  10 minutes would be awesome. =)

Hi Navy Moms, My son is in Ship 13-Div 195. I rec'd the second call last week & his first letter home yesterday :) I was so pleased that it had details of his experience and that he is adjusting well & is happy! He will do his A school in San Antonio, Texas. Anyone else have a son going there?

Hi HappyMom, my son is also 13/195.  He's going to Pensacola, but thought I'd say hi! =)  What is your son't rating?

Hi Mamafozzy,
My sons rating is HM-Corpsman and he will be doing is A school in San Antonio Texas. I'm very excited for him.
Good morning all. I am kind of sad that I didn't get a phone call on Mother's Day but I kind of understand the weather was bad and that there won't be enough time for all to call. But if the time line is correct this week they should be taking pictures so if we get any of the question from trivia Tuesday correct we can see a picture of the division. I've got the ladies at my job trying to help but so far the question are hard but we are trying.

Woohoo!!  Hopefully one of us will win Trivia Tuesday.  Would be awesome to see our SR's!  I bet they already look different!

What is Trivia Tuesday?

On Facebook the Navy has a web page called U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command and they ask questions on Tuesday about the Navy and family n friends of the SR's try and guess the answers. The first person that guesses right gets to have their SR division group picture posted on Facebook so u can get to see your SR before PIR.
Yes and I would love to have the pic on my ipad n phone to show everybody

Div 196 won the Scholastic Flag for their first test.  Congratulations!

Yeah!! That's great

A letter yesterday from Daniel.  He also found out he'll be going to Groton, not Pensacola like he thought.  He's an IT/S not an IT.  Darn.  I was looking forward to some beach time :D
