I am beginning to think my SR is the only one in this Division. Don't see it mentioned anywhere. Yoohoo, anyone out there?

Our SR's are going to get through this no problem! They've made it this far and nothing's going to stop them now!

Amen!

In exactly three weeks our girls will be graduating! Hooyah!

AND GUY! HOO YAH!

19 sleeps and 1 wake up before the big day! Soon we will be in single digits. I have my  blue candle ready to light for battle stations as soon as we know when it will be. So proud of our SR's accomplishments so far and know they will  be bursting with pride at PIR.

So for those of you whose girls are going to San Antonio, do you know how long they get after graduation before they fly out? I just got a call from her today because she's doing a lot of the ironing for everyone else, and she said that she either leaves that night, or she leaves the next morning. I really hope its the next morning. I won't be able to see her for a while after we go to graduation. Not seeing her is killing me.

I don't the answer to that Jake, but hopeful it is the next morning at the earliest. I know that many have said if they are grad and go you can go to the airport and hang out at the USO with her until she flies out, so that will give you a little extra time. We are getting so close to PIR! I am lucky mine SR's A school will be at GL so we will have the weekend days and I promised her some "alone" time with her fiance during that time. At least you will be able to talk, text and skype during her school.

Ya I really hope its the next day. I know I won't be able to have any "alone" time with her which kinda stinks but I'm just happy that I'll get to see her. The next time I see her after graduation is going to be Labor Day weekend in San Antonio for our 4 yr anniversary. I kinda want to propose to her that weekend since I'm thinking about joining the Navy myself. And I'm really glad we'll be able to Skype during A school. Seeing her face is going to be great! I'm just wondering how often she'll be able to text and Skype during her time there.

Wish you and GF the best s jake! Sounds like a plan! You'll find out all that soon, I'm sure!

I got a call today! She said it was a surprise call, just told to get her card they had call time, talked for 11 minutes before she called fiance. She did not know how long they would have. Great to hear her voice, excited that time is counting down now.

Jake, she most likely will leave the next morning.  They normally don't leave on PIR Day.  However, they are bussed to the airports very early in the morning to wait for flights. You can meet her out there then and wait with her.  You will be able to get a gate pass and stay until her plane leaves.

Thanks for the info! I talked to the recruiter and he said she most likely wont leave the same day. I can't wait to see her! Only 8 more days! I'm so excited! I've actually been talking to a recruiter too. I just took the ASVAB on Monday and got a 90. So I'm thinking about doing the Nukes. I really want to stay with her so idk how we'll get married. If I sign my contract now then I leave sometime in December, and she gets back from C school around that time. So I might not even get to see her before I ship out.
