My SR is in the same ship and division!! nice to find another mom!!

Have you received any letters from her yet?  Did she also leave on

the 26th of April.  I have been going crazy waiting for a letter.  I'm

hoping this week we will get something.

not yet and today has really sucked!!! My whole family must think I have gone totally bonkers with the crying!!!  from what i understand today is the first oppertunity they have to get mail out so stalk the mail box and the mail man this week. i know i will be. Being a navy brat growing up i was used to my dad being gone but this is a WHOLE different ball game.she has not lived at home in a year because she got married and moved to TN but i could talk to her everyday there. Her hubby will get all the phone calls i think. I hope he misses one so then maybe she can call me!!!!

Hi again Ari's mom we will be traveling there for that same date can't wait!

any news from your daughter, Me still waiting for my call, i have sleepless night thinking about her so much and how i miss her dearly, I wonder if our girls know each other. have you research on where you will be staying at we were thinking about the Spring hill suits..

Hi Angel W. Sailor Mom

I used the brochure they sent us and booked a room at Red Carpet Inn. The first place on the brochure.  They said the give a discount because we are going to the graduation.  They have an outdoor pool for my 12 year old son

since he is so excited to go and see his sister graduate.    Did you get that hotel from the brochure as well.  That would be awesome if they knew each other.  I wonder how many of them are in a Divison.  There must be a lot.
I hope we get a letter by the end of the week.Do you know the rules on whether you can post your recruits

first name at all?

Got a 20 min call from my SR!!! She needed some info and they let her talk for a bit!!!! Best voice I have ever heard!!!

THat is wonderful that you got a phone call.  I envy you.  I can't wait to hear from my daughter.  I'm

hoping today is the day I receive a letter and that she is doing better than the first couple of days

that she was in Boot Camp.

I am still waiting on that first letter. I am sure that she is doing fine!!!! My daughter said that everyone was getting used to the routine and that it was hard at first but everyone is coming around real good!!! Hope you get a call daughter said that her 3rd week she should be able to call back!! Hope that helps settle your nerves. If I hear anything else i will post it here ASAP!!

I just got a letter today!  So excited.  Anyways she sounds better than she did the first couple of

days in her note.  Also said she didn't pass her pt test (sit-ups or something).  and she might

not have liberty weekend.

She said she couldn't tell me if she had it or not.  She said she would let me know in

her future letters if she had it or not.  Do you know if your daughter has that?  I wonder if anyone

on this site can give me more information on this.  I was beginning to get very worried, so glad I got

a letter today.

She also said they are completely cut off from the outside world and didn't know about

Bin-Laden for a couple of days.

Also wanted to tell you I read on the other site if you go on Facebook and search for Recruit Training Command, you can click on photos on the lefthand side and see new pictures of the recuits.

Got to get back to work.

Bye

Did anyone else receive a letter?  Hope all of you did!

God Bless our girls!

I got 3 letters today!! My daughter said that she passed everything so far. She was working on the pt stuff 2 months before she left. my daughter has not said anything to m e about liberty. so maybe none of them got it. she did say they got a desert privledge recently.
