Hi, I'm looking for any other families who have someone on Ship 09/Division 205.

We'd be good SR's and drop and do those push-ups right along with you! So glad to have a face to go with someone in son's div. Your boyfriend looked like a fascinating person. I can see him and my future Nuke getting along! I'll post when I hear more....wish mine would write "detailed letters", but I'll take the up-beat short ones we've gotten! We're so encouraged by his letters.
Yes, don't know if fascinating is the right word for him :) but he is interesting. He is fluent in Russian and that is why he is trying to get into intell. He studied over there during college.
What I am curious about is if their div is starting to jell and the dynamics there. I wish I could be a fly on the wall.
When are you guys going up for PIR? Where are you staying? I will be there by myself & it would be nice to know someone else. His Dad & brother can't make it. With my bf being one of the older ones & I being older them him, I am probably closer to your age than I am to the other little girlfriends.
I hope they DO remain friends. NUKEdom is impressive. My SR said that your son was very smart.
Well let's hope for more letter soon. Being Sunday, they prob had time to write today.
Ladies,
If you are on Facebook look up 7 "like" U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command & look at the page. They post random pictures of the SR's on a weekly basis. You might see your recruit!
I got a long letter today! It took him forever to get mine. The one I got today was written May 9.
Hope everyone's mail is exciting today!
I'm distraught, I missed my SRs call. I was home but the phone was upstairs & had fallen under a cushion. It was the ONLY time today I didn't have it with me. He left 3 messages but I could tell he was crying.
However,. so glad you got to talk to your SR, Cathy. Glad he is doing well. My SR did say they all passed their written test & got a new flag to carry because of it. So if one is doing well that bodes well for all of them.
