bussinbier--when did they go in? are they supposed to PIR on June 17? my son sent his first letter home and we got it this week (thursday), but he said that some groups are not meshing very well (including his) so maybe your child hasn't been able to write yet. they can only write on sunday
praying for you,

you guys make me laugh out loud!!! that "clutching the cell phone thing wherever you go" needs to be made into a skit or movie. wow
yesterday, i was sitting here reading somebody's comments about sitting outside waiting for the mailman, and i was screaming and laughing to myself, until i realized that i had ALREADY GONE TO THE MAILBOX TWICE LOOKING FOR THAT LETTER!!!! we will all need therapy when this is over!

mks..! oh that is hysterical..!! ok, I am SO not laughing at you.. but that is pretty darn funny.
diannep: thanks to you girls, I did figure out how to get that phone in my bra, but it wasn't the phone being "large" that was the problem. :o Then, while sitting in church I thought, wonder if I remembered to put that thing on vibrate so it doesn't ring during church. OK, now I have to get brave enough to put my hand down my shirt to pull it out and look at it.. lovely!
OH thanks for the laugh mks! that is just way too funny.
Pianomom, I copied and pasted a whole bunch of pictures of his fam. n friends, onto one computer page. Then after I printed it off I had fun writing little notes and funnies about each one. They can also receive cards, and small 5x7 yellow envelops if you wanted to send writing paper and envelops, but they can use the Navy stationary. And you rock prayin those scriptures!
Linda..*opps* I'm loosin track who's with who.
to KC'smom--can we put ANYTHING at all in those letters? i guess i thought nothing but a letter (maybe with pics) would be accepted. anybody know?
