RWG:  Could have been that they did allow them to write on Easter.  And it is up to the RDCs when they can write also...some allow it earlier than others.  They have to get the SR handling the mail trained as well.  Glad you got the letter!

Is anyone's son in DIV 205 on Ship 09?  That's the info I got from his recruiter on Tuesday, but still have not received the form letter.  I see other DIV #'s, but not 205.

Diannep,

You brought up a good point about the SRs not getting to write for the first 2 weeks. I wonder why my son was able to write. I was surprised to get the letter. Maybe they let the SRs write letters on Easter sunday.

Mommabee2:  Can you add Jessica's division info below to the title of this group---

TG31: 9 Div (203-210, 931)

Makes it easier for others to find the group and also easier for me when doing the BattleStations schedule.  Thanks!

Be sure to make note of the name/phone number "Odi" posted below re: Sarge at PIR.  We have heard rave reviews on Sarge...for those needing transporation from airports/to airports, and around GL/to PIR.

Casey'smom:  They usually can't write for the first 2 weeks or so there...so hopefully this Sunday, he will be writing you a letter since that is "close" to 2 weeks!

Ladies, they also "hold" the mail from the SRs for the first 2 weeks.
