@KCsmom so happy for you both. You know he will push thru this like a breeze cause he already did the hard part. My prayers are with him though.

I feel so bad for that poor girl. It really hurts when u want something so badly & u don't get it. I agree with the others - not God's will but it may take her awhile to see it.

Can't wait for your son to get through Battle Stations, KC'sMom! It's has been such a joy and privilege to root him on and "stand" with you through both your injuries. I just can't tell you how happy I am for you both. It brings all the joy of the week of PIR back to me - such a wonderful time for our family. I, too, like Pianomom and you are so sad for this young woman who has tried so hard to recover. Continuing to pray for God's will for her life. So many times we don't understand why He leads us down the paths we travel, but they are never an accident.
Can't wait for you to get the "I'm a Sailor" call!!!!

@KC'smom--are you kidding me?  he has BS on friday?  unreal...please keep us updated as to his status.  so thankful to our healing God for helping him.

and the same God has the future of that precious girl who did not pass her run in His Hands too.  It is not an accident, even though i know she is devastated.  He has a plan for her--maybe it will be the navy, maybe not.

i don't know how we can keep up with her, but i would like to.

thanks, KC'smom

well hello!!! I think the last time i logged on wa 6-17! wow i just read through an entire book of updates lol!!! My daughter is in pennsacola at A school. I am happy that she is recovering from her culture shock from boot camp! She is getting back to normal little by little. Her hubby has moved down to FL to be near her and she has overnight liberty so she can stay at the apt that they rented.

KC'S mom- It has been a long time coming for your soon to be sailor, but what determination and will power to just blaze through his final run!!! If anyone can do this I know he can!!!

I will check back from time to time!!!!

the young women I mentioned below was not able to pass. missed by 28 seconds. She is being separated, but of course fighting it. She is going to beg for one more chance. I hope they give it to her. Her sister tells me she is absolutely devestated.
