Pianomom-He did say that, when he starts school there will be little to no liberty, so he is "banking" his fun now. LOL

Lots of prayin' going on for all of you...so nice to touch home base here! Took a bit of time to catch up.

My sailor just started school this week also. He had watch and worked on getting more liberty time....had to pass some tests....worked out etc. Meryl, do you know when BESS graduation is?

Audrey--that is awesome!   now, will he go into depression when he hits A School and has liberty back to ground zero for awhile?  hope not.  it's been 24 days since PIR and our son will only just be starting real classes this week.  but never fear--they have had non-stop work!  YAY!

Squeekerz--one of our sons is 25 and works at appleby's as a waiter and makes good money.  that's a thought.  keep us updated!

Wow! I missed a couple of weeks and it took me an hour to catch up.  My sailor is still in GL! He missed the start of his A school and now is just waiting in the THU for transfer. He is on watch and escort duty a good bit and is enjoying liberty with his buddies. He called me Sunday night and was telling me that he is now able to wear civvies when he leaves the base. He went to Six Flags and a water park last weekend and said the best part was getting to wear his boxer shorts and not the tighty whities! LOL  He has made many friends in the THU and said he is not bored at all. If any other moms have kids stuck in THU, message me their names and I'll ask my son to check on them.

wow--how horrible was THAT mistake?  @KC'smom--sorry for the MAJOR typo.  Jesus died for me because obviously i am NOT good enough.  only He is.   ( it's not pretty getting old and forgetful).  please forgive.  and please keep us posted on what happens.   so many of our sons and brothers and fathers and daughters to pray for.
