Phew... I'm back.. from a crazy awesome graduation, and a crazy 12 hr. drive! It was great to meet some of you moms face to face. My son kept saying, "mom, do you know everyone?" He said the moms he met said, "Oh I wanted to met your mom in person", with a weird look on his face. He sould be used to me by now..!! I make friends and adopt people in the grocery store!

Congrats on all your new sailors!!!  We got to go to church with our new sailor. What a privilege to stand in the balcony and look down, and pray over all those who are still pushing though. I did see a guy on crutches and I prayed for him the whole time. I wanted to go down and see if it was KC's son or sweakers boyfriend, but it was so hard since we didn't know last names, and I needed to behave myself since my son was still trying to follow professional rules...  (yes! that was hard for me! I am a floating butterfly :o)

So my new sailor is tucked into Goose Creek ready to start nuke school in 2 weeks..  I guess I"ll be on the nuke mom's site now.. since the chance of him doing more pushups because I'm on here is over..  yikes!

Thanks for everything ladies... it was such a great blessing to walk with you all though all of this.

It was so nice last night to call my daughter on her cell phone and talk for as long as we wanted.  Such a change from the waiting and wondering.  So glad that bootcamp is behind us.  It really helped having this site to ask questions, vent, cry, celebrate, and just chat with others in the same predicament!  N4M rocks!  I know this group has fizzled out and we've all joined new groups; I think it would be great if we all posted our new groups in case we wanted to get in touch with each other.

@mynavyguy--our son is in san antonio, but he has been calling us!   HAHAHAHA--that really feels weird, doesn't it?  so far, he has not given us an address.  i am on the other site though--Sailors in A School for Corpsmen.  maybe we can find out something there.

@ mynavyguy - my son is there, he started last week, my nephew just got there on Saturday but doesn't start until next week.  That is the address I have for both, except that mine is TSC3 not P.  Not sure if that makes a difference or not.   There is also a group for San Antonio MAA's.

Thank you I will do that :)
