Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 213 and 214

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I just recd a mother day letter signed by the group. How nice. He said everything's great:) they were on holiday which means they can go to church, shine shoes or clean their spaces. Take a longer shower than usual. Happy mom here. He did say they will be calling on Thursday. And that is today. Whooo whooopp

This just forum just gets better and better!  Thank you Veteran Mom's for coordinating these groups and working so hard to keep us up to date and informed.

Just heard from my husband that we got another letter today from our SR.  He is in Div 213.  He writes an "everyone" letter to cover all his family/friends (at least he started it with Happy Mother's Day).  We then scan it and email it around.  It saves him time so he can study and/or practice during the rest of his letter writing time.  He said the Div is improving, and they are now having inspections (they have had one folding/stowing and one personnel).  I think they were scheduled to have a test this past Monday and a zone inspection (cleanliness of the compartment) as well, according to his letter.

That's all I have to report.  Take care.

Still Patiently waiting on a Call From My Son. I miss him Soooo Much.Never thought I would Feel this way. Its a Struggle 4 Me Everyday.Hes in Div.213 also

I am feeling the same. I cry everyday. Just got 2 letters from my son. He is in Div 213. They had their PT testing.

Awh. Memegaronmom. I know how u feel. I wanted him so bad to get started with his career. Now waiting anxiously for a simple letter to hear how's he is doing. Not too much longer now. They are embarking on week 4. :)

I'm new to this group!  My son is Ship 13, Div 214  PIR 6/19.  I just received a call from him and he said he passed his Pass Program and was feeling confident.  He's sounded really good and said he's glad he's had this opportunity to go through this boot camp.  While it is difficult, he's learning more about himself and achieving things he never thought he could.  I'm feeling better knowing he's feeling better.  Counting down the days to 6/19.

Ship 13 Div 214 for my son also. Hi!
Hi everyone my boyfriend is in ship13div213 received a 4min call this morning. So happy to hear his voice especially this call has a better quality to the call I could actually hear what he says. I miss him dearly. Oh! He mentioned there's a pink eye going around! Unfortunately he got it !!
Woot.I received a Call from my SON ON SAT.morning. HE'S also on ship 13 Div..213☺I was overwhelmed with Joy.He sounded GREAT..
I missed a call yesterday. I walked away from my phone 2 mon and he called. I have a very sick SR. Upper respiratory infection. He has failed his last 2 pt test he is down about that. He said he had to cut his run short during, due to the need of breathing. I really hope and pray he can start feeling well so he can get through ok. Otherwise in his msg he sounded ok but sick. Other than that he said he is doing ok. :)

My SR told me the same thing a bad virus is going around. He's been trying to encourage guy's to go get meds, he said sleeping is a chore there are so many guys coughing and snoring.  Poor guy's!!  GET WELL SOON EVERYONE!    We want everyone healthy for graduation!!

SR called. Didn't pass PFA. Said not to come to graduation. Sounded kinda scripted. Couldn't ask him any questions. Very worried for him. What will happen now?
