Hi MHunter, My son is also Ship 3 Div 187 It is getting easier for me as the days go on..... Hope to meet you and others of the same ship/div...GO NAVY!!!!

I also have a son, Matt,  in Ship 3 Div 187.  We are from Kansas City, Missouri (yes, the home of the Royals).  My son will head to Monterrey, California for "A" school.  Hoping that maybe a letter might show up this week from him.

Hi everyone, my son is in this division too. I just joined this site and all the info is overwhelming! Can't wait for my letter and to hear his voice.
My boyfriend is in this division!
My boyfriend is too!

Still no letter or call....I'm thinking that the 3rd week mark they should be able to write or be given a chance to make a call..Lets ALL hope for that...

Just received a call from my son.  He needed some additional information for his security clearance.  We didn't get a chance to chat but it was good to hear his voice.  He did mention that he has received mail from us already, but he hasn't been able to send any mail.  I don't know if that was just him personally or the whole division, but I guess I'll stop checking my mailbox for a few days.

My son is in this group also. Great to get to know all of you!

Hi everyone...I am Sooooooooooo very happy to report that we received our SR's first letter in the mail today. His girlfriend also received a letter from him too! He sounds very happy, tired and is working hard. Hope you all receive your letters this week. It is VERY reassuring when you read them.....GO NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
