Hello everyone! My name is Rosie, my husband is in this division, and I'd love to keep up to date with others with loved ones in this division/same PIRdate!
How is everyone doing so far? I was feeling pretty low until I got an address to write to him at today. I feel much better. I going to send my husband some news clippings out of his favorite magazines, and the New York Times. Anyone else from NY/NJ? Also, any other Nukes?
Let's chat! :) Rosie

Hello Rosie, My name is Sue and I am very very new to this site so I am not sure what I am doing, I just got the letter yesterday and my son is on Ship 07 Divison 192. I was so excited to get the letter and just mailed out some letters and pictures today. I am still kinda depressed because I need to know if he is ok. and how he is doing. I am from Vegas. I can not wait for the graduation. I am sooooo proud of him.

Hi Sue! Nice to meet you. I know how you're feeling, but I felt very happy to get an address, and finally have some form of communication! I can't wait for his first letter too!I am nearby you, at the moment I'm staying in AZ with my family. As for being very new to theaite, I've found sooo much useful information by looking around, it gives me great comfort just to read what my husbands up to day by day!
I hope you feel better! Rosie

Hi Rosie, my name is Angela and my son is in this division. I booked our flight yesterday for my husband my other son and myself. Can not wait to watch graduation. I hear it is awesome. I sent off letters yesterday and I am writing a new one today. Not from NY or NJ, in fact across the country from you. We are from Oregon.

Hi Angela, I cannot wait for PIR either!! I'm going with my mother in law, and possibly my mom if she can off work. I heard it's really something special to see. I've already mailed a manilla envelope with three letters and a postcard! and tomorrow I'm sending another letter and i wrote a page of Navy jokes for him to share with his friends! Maybe your son will end up hearing one of them :)
I am actually closer to Oregon right now, visiting my family in AZ!
Rosie

Hi Rosie, my name is Jackie. My son is also in this division. I just got the letter with his address yesterday and sent off a letter.

It is really hard not being able ot talk to him and know how he is doing. I am fromOregon. Counting down the days for Graduation.

Hi Jackie!
I know you how you feel, I don't mind being apart from my husband for a while, but it's the lack of communication that's getting me down. I find solace in writing him letters. I've already written 4 since he left last week! I may be over doing it, but it makes me feel better :)
Rosie

Hi Jackie, my son is in this same division. When he left from Portland he said there were a couple kids from Oregon heading up with him. Nice to know a couple Oregon kids made it in together :)

Hi Angela,

It is nice to know they made it together. I have booked a room for Graduation but am still needing to get our airline tickets. I see you booked yours. Did you find a good deal ? Who did you book thru? I have looked online. I am going with my husband  and my sons girlfriend.

We booked using Expedia. We are flying out of Portland on Wednesday with our son who is at Oregon State University. I have been watching tickets and they have been pretty much the same price the last couple weeks so I just got them. We are staying at the Navy Lodge and will have Thursday to look around and figure out what to do with our SR after graduation.

Hi everyone, just got the letter from my son today. He is also Ship 07/Div 192. It's so nice to finally at least have an address and a PIR date.  I'm sure we'll all be chatting a lot as we get letters and phone calls.  I'm in Texas, any other Texas moms or wives?

Hi Vicki!
I'm not from Texas, but I just wanted to say hello :)
I'm so happy to have gotten the letter and PIR date too!
Rosie

Hi! My boyfriend is in that same ship/DIV! I am from CT
