Any one who's recruit is ship 2 division 932?

My fiance is.

His recruiter gave me his address, I'm not sure if his PIR is June 22, yet, but I will this week.

mumof4: My son said the same thing...that their time was cut short. He was so disappointed.

heathermorey331: I'm not sure the entire 932 division got to make phone calls yesterday. It may have been just a section of the division and the others may get to make phone calls on another day. Try not to worry.

Remember no news is good news!!!!!

Good morning!!  We got a nice letter yesterday from our SR musician. He said they are having scheduled "letter writing" times, so we should be getting more mail!! Yea!!!  We're heading to a local MI parade this afternoon and concert this evening to see the Great Lakes Fleet Band perform.  They will also march and perform tomorrow in my "growing up years" town.  Most exciting is that our SR is a musician and one of his quartet members from his Master's program is in the band.  Hoping to reconnect with our son's UMKC (Univ. of MO @ Kansas City) Conservatory of Music college friend today.  Washington D.C. Memorial Day concert with Navy and Marine Bands will be on TV tonight too.

That's awesome news! When was the letter dated?

Wondering if they are no longer a silent division......at least they are getting to write now!  Did he say how Marlinspike went this past week?  We're trying to glean any information we can get from your SR...  You obviously are in MI - so am I.  We're on the west of the state - Muskegon area......  Enjoy your day!

hi mik0991! i'm your friend from experience project LOL =)

Good Morning All!!  Trying to catch up after our busy Memorial Day weekend.  Our SR's letter (came Sat.) is dated May 22nd (a Tuesday).  Since it came Sat., I'm figuring 4-5 days to  southeast MI from when he wrote it.  We attended both the St. Clair Shores and Royal Oak parades (Sun/Mon) to see the Great Lakes Navy Fleet band.  We also attended their excellent concert Sunday eve. in St. Clair Shores, and heard them play at the Royal Oak Memorial service.  I was sooo excited--almost like having our son there with us!  We reconnected with his college Masters program Quartet member both days.  Caught up on lots of news and learned so much about what our musician has to look forward to.  I'm so excited for our son.  Also heard from our sub son during the weekend. Looking forward to more letters and possibly a phone call this week???  Have a great day!!

Hey all! I got a letter on Tuesday and Friday this week! He said Marlinspike went well and they got the scholar flag.  He also said he was talking to people in his section, so maybe that means they aren't a silent division any more.

My son said the same. Was able to order a shirt with their division flag they created. He mentioned everyone is sick. Long days. More letter writing time. Glad BC is almost over.

Yeah....thanks for sharing that!   Our youngest got a letter today - written on Wednesday.  He also said that marlinspike went well, they had two inspections that day and did well on that, had two tests coming up and had division pictures taken.  They were supposed to start with firearms the next day.  He said they were practicing for performing on 6/8 and 6/15 PIR's and were nervous about it not wanting to mess up!  He sounded good in the letter which is a real answer to prayer!  I'm hoping by the time PIR comes around they'll be over this nasty sickness!

Yea!!!  Super news for 932!!  Thank you MIK0991!

932 begins performing at today's PIR!!!
