Hello! My boyfriend is a nuke and in ship 02 and division 932. I though it would be nice to make a place for anyone else with the same division and/or ship to talk and share information! I hope I find some others(:

Aw! The letters are great. It's looking like I will get about  envelope a week with 3 letters inside, that seems to be the trend. Are you going to PIR?
I hope my brother wrote a decent letter!! i've been dying to get one, especially after writing so much. :] And yes, my mom, dad and step mom, and I are all making the trip from Texas. I'm super excited!! So do you know why some SRs get to write more than others?
Depends on the RDC's of the division, and how often the SR writes when they aren't supposed to. Mine does that a lot.. haha. Also, depends on who they are sending the most letters to, I guess girlfriends and wives get the most.

Well my brother doesn't have a girlfriend and i'm the only one from everyone that's writing that's recieved a letter back from him but he told me in his letter that he gets a little time on Sundays for church and stuff now so he's gonna start writing some more. Apparently he's been getting quite a bit so he feels really bad for not writing back. My dad said we should get a phone call this week so i'm crossing my fingers!! We also reserved our hotel last night, finally. Where are you staying?

I'll be staying at the Navy lodge. I got a call on the 31st, I'm hoping for another soon! They live for mail, send tons.
My daughter said they would not be able to call again until after BS...the I'm a sailor call...but you never know I guess.  As far as the week thing...is today Week 5 - Day 1??  I will have to go back and read my letter from last week...she mentions that.
I'm not sure. My boyfriend said they have a few tests to take still and can earn calls for perfect scores. You never know! He got a 99/100 on a nuke test he took there and didn't get the call because of the one question. He was devastated. they definitely push for perfection.
What is the Navy Lodge?
The navy lodge is a military run hotel for dependents and families of active duty military. It is only $65/night with no tax, there is a shuttle as well. Girlfriends like me can stay too for PIR, all you need is the last 4 of your SR's SSN, the ship and division number.
Welcome! I agree that this is an awesome website and helps to deal with our feelings.  We have a great bunch of gals on our ship/div discussions. And even the PIR discussion group is great...you must check out Katie's comments if you haven't already...she knows how to cheer you up.  Hope your letter was great...but hearing from our SR in anyway is always special.  Do you know if you & your family will be attending the meet & greet at Ramada? Again...welcome!
Good to know, I thought this was week 4. The whole week-day system there confuses me. What do they do during "hell week"?
I was wondering about this too...
