Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 934

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Rhonda, do you know or would you be able to ask your contact over at RTC to find out what week and day 934 started? I'm curious to know where they are at. Or anybody who is reading this if you know what week and day our division started could you let me know please? thanks so much!!!

Ashley, I sent a msg to my friend to ask her SIL. I will let you know when I hear back. :)
I received my first letters yesterday, 2 of them. He said the first one ended abruptly because they got in trouble for the bathroom not being clean enough. Both of them were written before the phone call, so no new info. Hoping we get a call this weekend and a new letter next week. Can't believe we are halfway there!!
Just got a call from 934! Sounds Like they are all getting over the sickness. Said he got a 4.7 out of 5 on the first test.100% on his 11st uniform inspection And only one hit on his rack inspection.got advanced to E2 for passing his dep exam and pfa. Proud momma !

I received 5 letters on Friday and got my first phone call today! he said he got his wisdom teeth pulled last weekend and that's why he wasnt able to call. He also passed all of his tests and get moved up to E-2!! i am so proud of my man :) <3

I am reading all of these messages about wisdom teeth being pulled. Does this means that my son's wisdom teeth are going to get pulled or already has been pulled? If so, why?

Candy1170, Wisdom teeth re pulled if there is any indication they may cause an issue in the future. There would be nothing worse than being out at sea for weeks or months, and have one cause a problem. Dentists are miles away (in most cases), and the ship won't go back to port for a wisdom tooth.

Don't worry the RTC dentists have pulled thousand of them, and if your son had his pulled no worries. A couple days SIQ and LLD, pain killers and many others in the same boat, will almost be a mini vacation during BC. They love the extra rest they get!

Thank you so much for the info ellen0502

How are you guys planning your trip? Do you think with PIR being on Thursday they will ship out Friday morning? I'm really hoping they will give them Liberty until Sunday.

The SR's will generally fly out the day after PIR on Friday. you can get a guest pass at the airport to hang out with them before they fly out to A-School. Just make arrangements with your SR for a time to meet you at the airport so he/she can get you guess pass to go to the gate. If they do not fly out on Friday they will probably fly out first things Saturday morning... your SR will know when their flight is shortly after they pass battles tations.

Does anyone know when Battlestations will be for this group (934)? Can someone send me message with the info. Thank you
